HI

I started with diarrhoea yesterday moring, which lead to vomiting by 2pm after trying to drink 1/2 a glass of water. Got through the afternoon and started drinking water again last night which I have kept down. However the diarrhoea has continued every hour for more that 24 hrs now. Still have cramps and nausea.

Any advice, please? What should I do, do you know what I can take? When do you think this becomes a problem? Should I call someone?

I think the most important thing lovely is tht you keep hydrated....easier said then done when your feeling rough....try some lucozade if you can....glucos can sometimes help settle you (often works for a hangover so maybe?!? lol!) if it carries on into this afternoon id say ring the doctor/mw, they might be able to prescribe some anti sickness tabs or something! is bubs still moving well?

feel better chick!

Hi tinker hun,

I had a real nasty bug in the first trimester (pooping, sickness, everything else) I just sipped water because i was constantly being sick and on the toilet, and eating a tiny bit of dry toast every now and again when you can't eat will help you stop feeling so sick, also keep your temperature down as you might over heat and keep resting xxxx

Have managed a slice of toast and am keeping water down. The diarrhoea is still on going though!!

Feeling really uncomfy and cant seem to lie still today am so achy all over.

Oh, Baby is moving a treat...in fact too much! Its not helping settle my tummy any.

hi tinker

when i had the nasty sickness bug when i was 20 weeks pregnant the doctor gave me dioralyte sachets to rehydrate me and immodium for the diahorreah (sp), i would give nhs direct a call and see what they say if you are suffering as i remember that it really took it out of me and lasted for almost a week.... hope u feel better soon

Thanks guy's.

The symptoms have gone but have not really started eating again yet and feel so weak and nausous still. Very off. Dont think there is anything I can do except rest it out.
