Thanks for the tips Linz. Will be trying it out this week one Ive tidied up her room. Got one of them vacum bags to store her old clothes which dont fit anymore.  I'm hoping to take Olivia swimming this week but not sue if Im brave enough to don a swim suit well a tankini as Im a bit self consious about my belly.

Well no real update from me. Still puree lots of foods for Olivia to try and she adores fruit! She had banana and blueberries today and it was all over her face and now her bibd is purple instead of white! lol! Still cant get her to drink any water from her training cup. Poor thing was constipated last Wed and been grumpy all day. On the night time she had a really big poo and was back to her normal self.

Ive had my first period this week and boy I dont miss them! I think it was about 16 months since my lst one and it was really nice not having them too!

Everyone must be really busy with the little ones! Hope you all can keep in touch!

I am having a very productive day, done lots of cleaning (still plenty to do over the next few days..i got a bit behind) so thought id take a quick break but not many posts to read.

Emi has been poorly last few days (since friday) bad cold and when you try to wind her she is nearly always sick and she only takes about half her bottle (most of which comes back up) also she is opnly having 3-4 bottles a day...bless her hope she feels better soon. she refuses calpol and when i try to give it go her she gaggs and throws up (she does this when i try to give her solids too, so given up)

Joshua thankfully is fine not sure if i could cope with two ill children.

starting to feel really lonely at the moment my best mate with kids (that i used to spend the day with once a week) has had to start work full time so now i dont see her and have nothing to lookforward to come a monday and im just waiting till its the weekend again so that my OH is here durring the day (although saying that he plays golf one day at a weekend) find mother and toddler groups hard work with two so we just stay in all the time...its really getting me down. just looking forward to christmas as friends without children will be off work for a bit and im spending 6 nights at my parents over christmas (and my brother and sister in law will be there as they are back from brussels for christmas)

anyway got to wake joshua now as he has been sleeping for about 3 hours...he's not going to sleep tonight! x

Aw Sarah! sending lots of big hugs to you!  hope on a train with the kids and come and visit me! We'll have loads of fun oh yeah and the kids too! lol! .  hope Emi is getting better poor thing.  Its awful when you cant do anything for them and wish you could take away their nasty bug! Big kiss to her too!

Linz - thanks for the tip about colosynth granules! Will give anything a try as she's been turning red/purple from the straining.  Funny at first but after a little while I start to feel sorry for her! What kind of mother am I for laughing at her! WOW Rhys is sitting all by himself! I try to get Olivia to sit but she starts to lean to one side then flops over! She's finally rolled all by herself and also get unstuck with her arm!  Will be uploading a video clip on FB soon!

She also had a nap in her bed for over an hour today! Was busy pottering in her room today tidying up all her small clothes and putting them in one of them vacum bags which suck all the air out.Cant believe how much clothes she has!  She was sitting in her Bumbo seat watching me whizz around her room like a blue arsed fly!

Off swimming tomorrow afternoon, cant help but be paranoid about my belly poking out the bottom of my vest swiming top! URGH!

Well wrap up warm everyone, nite nite xxxx

Hi,

Long time since I came on here. Had a rough few weeks to be honest but I'm startin to feel normal now - thank god!

Sarah, I can only imagine how lonely you feel chick. If I stay in all day with Oliver, we both get cranky and bored. My friend returned to work on Monday and it's strange. She had a little girl in Feb. I was at hers or vice versa all the time so now I'm a little lost!

Karen - Olivia sounds like she's doin really well. I watched the video on FB of her blowin raspberrys. Oliver does it too. It's so funny isn't it?

Linz - Rhys is forward to be sittin all by himself! What a clever little man!

Oliver is great. He said Dada for the first time on Sat and now all I hear is Da da da da da da...it's great. He has his 2 bottom teeth too. They are proper little teeth and when he smiles he looks so cute. I think the top 2 are on their way.

Got a new lightweight buggy on Sat. It's a silvercross pop one. Really nice. I was so fedup of tryin to lift my silvercross 3d in and out of the car, it's so heavy! This new one is so light but I have one issue with it. The handles are really high and you can't adjust them. I never realised in the shop! I'm only 4ft 11 and when I put my hands on the handles, my hands are next to my boobs! I bet I look like a toddler pushin her doll ha ha.

Anyways, will try and pop on more lately.

Hugs to all x x x

Hiya Mummies!

Went swimming this afternoon with Olivia and OH and it was fantastic. Thought she might get freaked out at first but she just loved it! Got her sitting in a float thingy and she was kicking her legs like mad! Was able to get a few pics before the lifeguard came over to say that we werent allowed to take any pics! I'll update a few on FB soon.

Katie - so nice to hear from you! I still crack up laughing when I watch that video on FB! So funny! I cant wait for Olivia to start her Dadada's or Mamamama's. She's babbling at the moment so when you answer her back she goes off on one! Very cute!

Well Im meeting up with my breast feeding mummy group for a graduation ceremoney with other mums who have completed La Leche course! Ive agreed to go with one of the mummys when she goes to the antenatal classes to talk about breast feeding! I dont DO well speaking in front of strangers! God knows why I agreed but I suppose it gets me out of the house for a couple of hours.

bit of a stupid question but just how much am I suppose to be feeding Olivia. Im currently defrosting 4 or 5 ice cubes of food and mixing it with a little baby rice for a bit a texture. After 10 mins it's all gone and she has a little bit of what  Im eating. She then goes roughly 2-3 hours before she has her milk.  think I might call the weaning lady to speak to her about it also how do I get calcium in her diet when she's allergic to cow's milk?? This weaning business perplexing!

Anyways off to bed to snuggle into Olivia as I cant stand the howling of the wind!

Nite nite xxx
