..FORGOT to add, C tries to climb out of his high chair when he has finished eating.  I think I am going to have to start strapping him in!

Hi all

Emma - sorry to hear about your OH leaving you to deal with so much before C'mas - you're such a strong girly I don't know how you do it hon! Hope it's not too much of a headache for you.

Liz - have a fab night out tonight - I've got a similar night out planned for tomorrow night & I'm really looking forward to it. Although I'm still not entirely sure what I'm going to wear! LOL! Hope your cuts get better soon - I know what you mean - those tiny cuts are soooo much worse than they look!

Maria - good to hear you're a bit more on track now - hopefully the iron tablets will make a difference with the energy levels & that will really give you a boost! You're doing such a great job hon so don't beat yourself up about Caleb's routine - it'll fall into place in time I'm sure.

When it comes to baths - luckily Lily is like Jacob in that she just adores her bath & has no problem with water over her face or anywhere really. She's quite the water baby! Unfortunately I haven't managed to take her swimming for ages though which is a shame but it's such a lot of effort for such a short time & with all the added clothes this time of year I just can't get the enthusiasm up for it!

I've not had the chance to get on here much recently - usually enough to have a quick read but not post unfortunately! I'm barely keeping my chin above water with the work at the moment as the jobs are backing up a bit. 1 wedding vid to finish & 2 stag do videos before Christmas & I only have 1 afternoon a week to do it in (plus the occasional bit during Lily's nap time). I often can't use naps though as they're not long enough to get stuck into the work properly.

We've started trying for number 2 again recently as I feel now that my body has got back to 'normal' from the ectopic m/c. Problem is that it's costing me a fortune in tests as I'm so paranoid after each period that it's happening again - with phantom twinges and the works. Very annoying! Now I'm kinda hoping we're NOT preggie this month as I would find out just before C'mas & spend the whole holiday worrying about impending early scans...plus it would end up being due so close to Lily's b'day which I don't really want. Oh well - what will be will be!

I've just started rehearsing for another play too! This time I've got to do an Irish accent (to be sure!) LOL! Busy busy!

Best get on anyway.
Love to all

Hi girls.

Thanks for all the kind words. Know you girlies are all super busy too, its just hard not to feel put upon sometimes. Seems like jon can go off and do whatever he wants while taking it for granted that il look after the kids. On the plus side, the stepkids are probably staying at their grandparents for the school week, would be v convenient as we live a 40 minute drive from the school and their house is only a 5 min walk. Their mum suggested it, and while I have to admit it will take a load off me, there is a part that is insulted that she might think im not capable of looking after them all properly.

Liz. Hope youre sending me some Crimbo cider Youre right about little cuts being really sore, I scratched my hand last week and it stung like mad.

Maria. Well done on your triumph over J. Its hard to keep your resolve but think he's learnt now that you wont put up with needless tantrums.

Joy. Good luck ttc. Know you must be worried, but we all have fingers crossed for you that everything will be fine this time.

Paige is fine in her car seat but whinges about being strapped into her buggy.

Hi ladies, just another quick hello from me...

Liz, meant to say earlier... hope you have a good night!!

Joy, good luck ttc... I am sure you are worried, natural after what your have been through but I am sure all will be great when it happens this time... keep us posted!!

Abbey, Jacob has been able to climb out of his highchair for ages now and can even escape when strapped in lol!!! He fell out once but now he knows how to climb off things sensibly it is not so bad... he climbs onto the computer chair, couches, boxes, stairs... anything really and is so bold & confident!! We have intentionally taken time to teach him how to safely get down from chairs, beds, and climb down stairs, etc as want to know he can... there doesn't seem to be anything he can't escape from, especially now he has managed to work out door handles, etc... he is even very close to mastering the saftey gate latch on the kitchen door... clever monkey!! We have to keep front & back door locked at all times as he knows how to open them too!!!

Here is a wee pic of Caleb today to make you all broody lol...

Thanks girls for the good luck wishes. Maria - that's such a cute photo of Caleb - isn't he growing fast though! Wow!

Was just popping on to say that I spotted a couple of pics of Liz on her night out on FB this morning...looks like you had a great time! Plus - well done on losing all that weight - you look fab!

Looking forward to my night out tonight now - although I still haven't a clue what to wear! Eek!

love to all

Morning girls

Joy, he is growing so so fast... just too quick though as seeing as he is our last we want it to go slowly lol! Have a fantastic night out tonight hun!! Could be your last good knees up / hair down, for a while

I also saw the fab pics of Liz on FB this morning... looks like you had a great time and you look great! I am going on a night out on the 20th... its my friends birthday so we are all going out for crimbo dinner and then round the pubs! Not feeling up to it at the mo but going to force myself (correction, my OH is going to force me!) to go as know it will do me good to get out and socialise even if I more feel like hiding away!! Also have a jewelery party this monday night so that should be nice and maybe, just maybe, it will be a start to my crimbo shopping seeing as I haven't started at all yet!!!!

I can't believe how much sleep Caleb took after his injections yesterday... he was out like a light at 5pm and did not want anything but sleep, so he slept til 11pm (missing out his bedtime bottle completely!), when he woke for a quick feed but was out like a light again by 20 past... I thought we would defo be in for a wakeful night as he had been asleep so early but no, he slept through to 4am, only woke for 30 minutes for his milk then was straight back to sleep till gone 8am!!! More injections please lol!!!!

Emma, never mind what she or anyone else thinks!! Let her ease the load but you know fine that you are more than capable and manage time & time again as proof of that... doesn't matter what anyone else thinks... you are a superwomen mum!!! I can see why you feel how you do about OH can go off and expect you to just take charge... think all men / dads are like this to a degree but it is harder on you with so many step-kids to look after too!

Have a good day all!

Morning girls.

Liz. You look great on the fb pics. Hope you had fun with the girls.

Maria. Aww, Caleb is so cute! Glad he took the jabs well too, when P was tiny she slept loads after an injection. Agree that you should defo go on those nights out you mentioned. Understand you must feel like just staying home, but afterwards sure youl appreciate some time to just chill out a bit. Know I shouldnt care what the kids mum thinks, and she probably is just trying to help. Think i just have some hurt and resentment thats built up, and sometimes I take things too personally

Joy. Have a great time tonight. We are going to the school Crimbo fair this evening. Will be first time P has seen Santa, think she'l enjoy it.

Em x
