Hello ladies, been back in Blighty for almost 2 weeks, not had the best of times as Benjamin has been sick but more of that later... How you all coing with this weather, it's flippin freezing - though as we fly to Canada tomorrow I shouldn't complain too much - it'll be even colder there!
NG - nice to have you back and to hear Daniel's doing so well - can't beleive he's got 2 teeth! Good luck with the journey to Oban - my dad worked near there for many years.
Laura - hope you get your wish with part-time work and glad to hear Isla is sleeping better.
Vicky - fit to push sounds great should also help to get Logan more confortable with noise. I take Ben to a couple of play groups and he's no longer bothered by loud noise!
Cristina - how fast has that 6 months gone. So pleased you'll get to spend Christmas in Portugal, too cold here! How organised are you with Eve's nursery place - I'm very impressed! Wishing you and your family a very happy Christmas and all you hope for in 2009. XXX
Becky - great to hear from you flower. I'm a little bit in awe of how you cope
Sounds like Miriam is doing really well you just make sure you take as good care of yourself!
Ash - good to hear for you flower and that Aiden is doing so well.
Julz - your Tyler is a monster - a very cute monster, I can't beleive he's got a tooth!?! They just grow too fast.
Es - always good to hear from you, fingers crossed for you and lots of sparkly Christmas glue coming your way.
Well our journey to the UK was great - Benjamin was so good. Had a little moan as he was over-tired, but once I got him to sleep he was fine. Woke up just before we landed and laughed his way through Charles-De-Gaul airport. He found the noise the wheely bags made on the travelators hysterical - he was giggling so much everyone was laughing at him.
Our time in Blighty has been much less fun though - he's been so ill with flu and an infection in both ears. I've never heard him cry so much for so long - it was really distressing. The doc gave him some antibiotics and he's much better - still a bit snotty but I can cope with that (my clothes can't though). He's lost a bit of weight as he's been off his food for the last week - gutted too as he was doing really well on solids. He's now refusing any veg and only wants fruit - will have to put a stop to that very soon
We're aff to Canada tomorrow - looking forward to meeting up with Alain - it's been hard on him being stuck in Saudi alone, but I know 2 weeks with his friends and family and a couple of portions of Poutine will cheer him up.
Back here on the 21st so will catch up with you all then...
Love to eveyone and take care....
Bev and Benjamin xxxx
