Thanks Steff, he seems to be much better today. He was very clingy yesterday but I didn't want to let him out of my sight anyway so it didn't matter to me how clingy he was! I also feel a lot better about it today and can talk to people about it without feeling tears stinging the back of my eyes, I've even managed to laugh at how crazy I must have seemed running around our street!

Have a good weekend all. I finished all our xmas shopping today, just trying to stop myself from wrapping it all now otherwise I'll have nothing to do in December.

Hi mummies, babies and dare i say new bumps

Congratulations to Lois, Em and Rach

It' has been so long sice i've been on here but i just had a sudden urge to find out what you have all been doing. I'm afraid i haven't read all your posts but the last 4 or 5 pages and i sounds like you are all doing reall well.

Sounds like all those babies are not really babies anymore they are toddlers! Lauren has been walking since 2 weeks before her birthday and is into everything but such a good girl. She talks all the time and can say Hiya, mum, Dad, Nan, grandad and bear.

This last year has gone so fast i can't believe all our babies are 1 year plus. My little boy Joshua starts playschool in April and is 3 in March and to me that just shows how time flys when you have babies!!!

Rach i'm sorry to hear Oscar has been poorly - you must have been terrified but it sounds like you dealt with it really well and hopefully Oscor will be just fine.

Hi All

How is everyone doing??  God Rach you must've been so scared!  Like what do you do in that situation?  I hope you find some answers when you go for the scan tomorrow!

Hi Toni, how are you doing?  Long time no hear!  Sounds like things are going really well with you!  No sign of a bump for you then??  Te he he he!

Oh had a wicked weekend!  Went away with my girly mates from oop North!  We stopped in a cottage in Staffordshire (near Telford).  It was great!  We cooked, drank wine and laughed the whole weekend!  I was so refreshed when I came home - even though I had gone to bed at 1 and woke up at 7.45 te he he!  So nice to get a break from everything and just be stupid and a girl again!

And this weekend we are going to Holland!  I can't WAIT!  Got the day off on Thursday so Lilly can go to nursery and I can get packed up and cleaned up!

Oh proud mum moment - Lilly did a little jump tonight!  She was so shocked!  It was so cute!

Hi all, Sorry I havnt been on for a while, just been doing a bit of catching up, Rach hope all goes well with Oscor, poorly lad.

Glad all is going well with all the new babies growing, were still trying, with Lili it was first mth, but maybe my bodys just not ready, who knows. I so want another too, ughhh.

Good girl for Lilly doing her first jump. Yes Toni it's the toddlers now, don't they grow and change so quick.

Cant believe some of you have started your christmas shopping yet, Ive only just started thinking about what to get on a shoe-string.

Lilis doing so well, such a happy little girl, eating well, always playing, she says mummy, mumm, daddy, dadd, nann, poppi (the dog) dhe book and pooh, when shes done a pooh, funny girl. were still going swimming twice a week, and the other day she swam alone using a float until her head popped under water.

Well girls, babies and those very lucky pregnant girls, big hugs to you all from Lili and me x

Hi All

How is everyone??  Good to hear from you Kirst! Oh Lili is doing so well and her talking is fantastic!  You must be so proud!  Sorry to hear you haven't caught on yet!  I always think it must be harder getting a second baby because you don't get chance to have as much sex as you did first time round!

Hey Rach - how did things get on at the scan?  Hope everything is OK with Oz!!

Well we got back from our Dutch trip on Sunday!  We had a great time!  Lilly loved seeing her Oma and tante!  Plus we saw my best friend (who is Lilly's godmother) too which made me happy!  The wedding was good but bloody hard work!  In the ceremony Lilly didn't want to sit on our knees she wanted to run around and chat to everyone!  Because everything was going on she didn't want to go to sleep and ended up exhausted!  Sigh!  Oh well!!  It was worth it!

Lilly has just been for her MMR and she was good as gold!  Hardly heard a peep out of her from both injections!  She is such a tough cookie!!  She is so cute too!  She pulled her sock off yesterday and tried to put it back on again!!  bless!

Take care all

Lou - Oscar is always doing that with his socks, they are so funny aren't they! Oz seems to be doing something new each day, I can't believe how quickly they pick things up. Today he was climbing in the front of a friend's ball pool and then pulling himself over the higher inflated sides of it to get out! He must have done it about 5 times, tired him out though he's gone straight to sleep this evening

His EEG thingy went well last Tuesday. He sat on my lap and watched the Tweenies and I had to sing 'Animal Fair' to him over and over to get him to sit still. Haven't heard anything from the hospital about the results yet so I'm thinking that must be a good thing otherwise they would have got us in to see the consultant quickly.

Oscar won't be having hiss MMR for another few weeks as Thursday pms are jab days in my area and I've got my 20wk scan this Thurs so won't have time to get it done then. Glad Lilly took hers well, I've been told they can be bad for the 1st night and then on the 10th day.

Baby has really started moving around now and hubby has managed to feel it a couple of times already. The kicking seems really low down compared to Oscar, I can feel it right on my scar but I'm wondering if that's because the muscles won't be so developed around there.

Right going to chill out in front of the tv. OH has gone away for the 1st of his 3 xmas dinners with work so I've got the remote all to myself tonight! Have a good evening all.

Hi all,

glad everyone is doing well. The babies (or should I say toddlers) all seem to be doing so many things now. Harvey insists on climbing on everything. Instead of sitting on his push along toy he stands on the seat and tries to get it to go forward by bending his knees and jiggling. He's fallen down the stairs 3 times now. He hasn't really hurt himself though and it hasn't put him off. Some of the babies are really talking! I don't know if Harvey is saying actual words but I think I can make out daddy, mummy and my SIL swears he says Elliott, Clare (her name) amd dinner. I thought he said more the other day but I don't know.

I can't believe you've got a 20 week scan and can feel the baby and everything Rach! It only seems 5 minutes ago we were all talking about it for the first ones and now some of you are having another cute little baby! Hope the scan goes well.

love to all mums, babies and bumps

Just a quick one before my dinner (take-away pizza) arrives to say that scan went well. Baby is little at the moment, measuring about a week less than an average one, but hopefully that bodes well for the pushing out! Placenta is also lying posterior which is why both me and hubby have been able to feel some good movements already.

Better go Oscar wants some attention

Happy for you Rach, glad things with baby nº 2 are going well x

Hey girls!

We are back!

Rach sorry to hear Oscar's been poorly. On my first Aid Training we are taught that Infantile convulsions are common though, so i'm sure there's nothing to worry about as they grow out of this. Glad your scan went well. My Bro cursed me the other day, as he said he had 'Animal Fair' in his head and couldn't stop singing it at work. Haha.

Toni! Lovely to hear from you. Guess what? DJ started walking at 11.5 mos! He and Lauren really are Due date twins!

Kirst, clever Lili! Fancy swimming like that! Am bit scared to take DJ as it's so cold over here.

Our holiday was a bit of a damp squib. DJ was poorly with a temperature, cold and cough on our 1st night, 12 sleepless nights for all of us, and he then got better on our last night. So we basically had to stay indoors, and didn't manage to do the mountain walks in the Black Forest, or the thermal pool. Still, at least our baby's alright now. We found Europe very expensive now the £ has dropped against the Euro, and for the first time ever, petrol is cheaper in England! haha. Typical.

Well, off to have a nice bath now. Got so much stuff to do before Christmas now!

Em 24+2 X

Just gotta say, is anyone elso traumatised by the newspapers reporting of 'Baby P?' I haven't read any of the reports-as I just can't, but have accidentally caught snippets of info from headlines. Its so upsetting. May he rest in peace X X

Welcome back Em, sorry your holiday wasn't brilliant but as you say at least DJ is better now!

Oz isn't well at the moment he has spent the last 3 days just sat on my lap so I haven't been able to get anything done. I think it is just man flu but he is milking it for all its worth, if I put him down to walk he just stands, looks at me and then whinges! I must sound like a cruel mother but he is stll managing to eat and be very nosey so he can't be that bad!!!

I have finally made my Christmas cake, got all my shopping from Tescos last night so I shouldn't need to buy too much else. I've begun Xmas card writing and all presents are just waiting to be wrapped nearer the time...so I'm feeling pretty prepared. I've got a few cakes and things to make but most can be made ahead of time so they'll be being done over the next couple of weekends. The only major thing we've got to sort is Oscar's bookcase but that's all built and I'm slowly painting it - I'll post a pick when it's completed as me and hubby are very pleased with it.

Anyway better give the little boy sitting on my lap some attention!

Hi All

How is everyone? Its very quiet on here! Glad to hear everything went well with Oscar Rach!  You make usre you put a pic of the bookcase on here - sounds like you worked really hard!

Em good to have you back!  Sorry your holiday was a bit of a washout - kids have this habit of doing this to us don't they?  At least he is better now!

Well I am doing great!  I am super organised and ready for Christmas!  I have written all my cards today and even got the stamps for them!  I have bought all the presents and the ones for oop north are all wrapped up and ready to go!  We were supposed to be going this weekend but hubby has to work!  Sigh!!  Hope we can get the Chrimbo tree this weekend now!  I am soooooooooo excited about Christmas this year!

Em - I have also not read anything about baby P!  It is far to sad and depressing!  I love my daughter so much and I would do anything to protect her so I don't understand how a mother could torture her own baby!  It's awful!
