Debra, she's so cute! Only 15 days until Isabella's birthday. Can't wait!

lisa, Isabella has been the same. She has driven me mad, screaming, not eating or drinking - she has hardly peed in 2 days but then yesterday she only took 6oz of milk all day and wouldn't touch her dinner.  I tried all her favourite things and she wasn't having any of it.  Also, she goes mad and i mean really mad if i try and change her bum - she screams like someone is trying to kill her.  She is tuning into the child from hell!  The only explination i can think off is that she has had 2 teeth come though, but that was last week so why all the fussing this week?

Its taken me bloody ages to get on here - website wouldnt accept my password arghhhhhhhh rant over.

Re the milk - im still giving Beth 3 bottles a day is that bad? She has 8oz at 6.25am has 8 again at 1pm and then another 8 at 6.30pm. Shes on cows milk and has been for a while now. I tried her with it about mid oct just one bottle a day to see how she got on and she loves it. Not sure when to start cutting her down on it though might give her till after christmas and then stop her 1pm feed. She seems to like drinking it from her bottle never even thought of trying her with it from a beaker - maybe I should.  I might invest in a large beaker for her so that she can have her milk from that.

Can any of you ladies reccomend a good baby/toddler development book? Im wanting to buy one this weekend just so I know what to expect from Beth etc and in theory things etc she should be trying to do - although I know each baby does things at different stages. Am also hoping it will help me when I became a childminder in the early part of next year. Will be bliss not to have to had over £500 a month for childcare

Jemma, caitlin has had 12 teeth for AGES now but they werent fully through !! the outside edges and inside edges were but not the middle bit as they are the big fat molars (are you still with me lol) so i put it down to her teeth the skin over the tooth breaking ???

Molly has had a lovely first b'day. we didnt really buy her anything except 2 books and a finger puppet (how tight r we?!  No, just skint!).  I did spend out lots on some hand made footmuffs which are lovely though!  She has had a lovely day at my mums having a little tea party which I ended up going to as phoned in sick at work - I am ill, but suppose I could have gone in!  This cough is just getting me down and I can't take anything and just feel rubbish all the time so decided to take 2 days off work (have only phoned in sick twice in 2 years but still feel guilty!).  Hope Hannah had a lovely day too Emma x

Lara, my OH and I are in the same boat financially - Kya has got two teddies and a couple of puzzles (purchased from Ebay) I'm thinking that Kya is unlikely to remember this birthday - so I'm not really stressing about what she does have or not have as is more likely to be the case.

Kya is now really ill - thinking that she has managed to get the latest stomach bug which is going round - vomiting and diarrhoea - will be monitoring her very closely over the next 24 hours. Hoping she gets better soon beacuse I hate it when shes ill.

Matt basically just has a cup of milk at breakfast now. He never wants his bedtime one but he eats loads of dairy so I'm not worried.

Hey Ladies

 I must remember this weekend to put some of beths birthday pics on facebook. This past week or so just seems to have been manic. I have never been this late in putting up the tree sending out cards or wrapping or anything. Mind you Iain has been suffering with man fever and Beth hasent been great with her tummy and not going to the loo oh and now she has a cold as well. Luckily she manages to sleep through it - tixylix vapour fans are fantastic. Am also planning on putting some of her old clothes onto ebay as well this weekend - some of them I want to keep some of them Im not too fusssed about. Those that dont sell I normally take them to the charity shop, so at least someone can make use of them.

Cant wait to leave work, to pick the chimp up (beths nick name) go shopping and have a glass of red wine while watching im a celeb will be bliss as there is no work in the morning woo hoo

Claire i will be having a few glasses of wine later while putting up the tree, our tree is going up later than usual this year too. I'm a celeb final to tonight, Joe to win, he's great.
