yas, glad you and hubby are trying to work things out.  i know it can be difficult, but hopefully things work out for you both and you can enjoy a great christmas together.  i'm a bit like you with numbers, although not so extreme, lol!!!

i'm sitting looking @ big bags of presents ready to be wrapped, but think i'll wait a few weeks.  i've spent this morning tidying up so we can put tree up this week.

i'm heading out later for my last few presents and then home to make something nice for dinner, poor hubby won't be back til later, the hearing he is going to is only gonna last an hour and then another 7 hour trip home from colchester!

morning

what happened to everyone yesterday? where have we all gone

sharon how ar you today hun, is it still snowing your end and how is Grace.

cant believe what happened yesterday, took alisha to school and went to take car in got there and the hire car they had was a small merc estate thing i went mad as told them over the phone i have 3 children so need something that can seat all of them this car had two normal seat belts in the back and one lap belt and front seats had airbags that couldnt be turned off well what good is that, sofia and hassan could go in the back but where do i put alisha on the roof??? they said to me cant you put her in the front or the middle seat, well no not with airbag on and the middle seat is a lap belt and booster wont go in the back with the two other seats i thought as a man and being in the car industry you would know that so then he went on the phone for about 20mins came off and told me they can get another car but it wont get there till 4.30/5.00 its now 1.15 told him i cant walk back and need to collect my daughter from school so wont be able to get back either but do need a car as promised and whats in our agreement he then tried to fob me off saying it was a a good will thing and that my insurance should provide a hire car i was like no you who we brought the car from have put in writing that we bring it here if anything is wrong and we get a replacment car until car is fixed in the end after some very angry words and saying im going to go and take matter higher they agreed to drop car at house and get someone to bring me home, then i had to get hubby to collect alisha but car arrived at about 6pm

what ever you do DONT buy new car its a waste of time adn more stress than second hand car, also you think that with a new car its would be more reliable than anything

how are we all today and are we doing anything interesting

sherry hope your ok hun and hope everything is ok with hubby

hi yas

buying cars is a nightmare - i hate car salesmen and they do not know the meaning of service!!!!  i bought a mini cooper and i had nothing but bother with it, they sold it to me and the traction was illegal, i almost had an accident and they wanted to charge me goodness knows how much to fix!!!

grace is ok, awake @ 4am wanting to play again, she's fine for a bit in her cot but then gets fed up, so i came downstairs and plonked her in her walker and i cuddled up on the sofa - i'm such a bad mum but i was so knackered!!!  she's only had a little sleep this morning so we're going out to get the last of my christmas presents. only a few little ones so it should be ok!!!

gotta go make myself some food, i'm soooooooo hungry!!!!

xxxx

p.s where is everyone????

Show/hide user stats

hi sharon hope your outing goes well, can i ask without sounding like im butting in but do you think grace might be having too much sleep in the day to why she is waking up early wanting to play ? or might be idea to try cut down her sleep so come night she is tired and will sleep for longer like say she has hour in afternoon either cut that out or wake her after 30mins or you could spread her sleep so she is still having the same amount of sleep but more smaller sleeps

hassan started wakign at 6am so i cut his afternoons sleep out and also up him down 30mins later to normal he is ok now 7.30 he wakes but plays in cot for 15/30mins

glad all is ok though i must go finish xmas last silly bits but just dont know where the time in the day goes before i know it its time to but girls to bed and then im so tired cant even be bothered to wrap never mind shop and its so cold too just want to stay inside and be in the warm

not sure where everyone is think they have gave up on the thread ?

Show/hide user stats

hi yas

well, she hardly sleeps in the afternoon, maybe half an hour and by 7pm she is really sleepy, but tonight i'm waiting til 7.30 for her bath and put her to bed about 8pm.  she's just had 20 minutes sleep in the car so hopefully that will be enough to see her thru!

i am so annoyed @ myself - i've just been shopping, bought a present for my mum and got it back and it is 3 shower gels in a gift set, which itself would be fine but they are Korres ones so weren't cheap so i'm gonna take them back 'cause not really work £24!!!  and i bought a top and just tried it on and i don't like it - oooopppppssss!!!!

oh well, i'm off on thurs so i can go back then!

i don't know where everyone has gone, i guess with folks being back @ work it's not as easy to get on.

i've got some on line shopping to do now, spending an absolute fortune!

Hi ya ladies, SHaron, hope you get a bit more sleep tonight. It is really hard when they decide they want to get up. I have to admit at 4 am I would let Nathaneil cry until he fell back to sleep so I guess I am an even worse mother!!!!!!!!!!!!! Haha, try and keep her up I guess if you can in the evening. Nathaniel doesnt go down till nearly 9pm but then doesnt wake until 9am except for 1 week at about 7 and then I put him back till 9, but in the evening he can be hard work! Yas hope the car is ok ! Bloody pain in teh arse that they are, but very exciting news about the scan! I am jealous! although dont think I could manage any more just yet. It is scary that the yr is coming up, it has gone soooo fast! Its a shame people seem to be disappearing, but I guess it is a busy time of yr too xHope everyone else is doing ok

I just bought a walker on E bay for 13 pounds so am pleased, can go and pick it up. Thats one of Nathaniels pressies sorted, although think I will give it t him early to maximise use!

Show/hide user stats

hi girls

kate - well done on the walker, they are great and i have to say it's the best thing we've been for Grace.  What else are you getting him?  I think it's very difficult to get them stuff for this age!

Grace had a better night, she was up until 8, then woke @ 9pm screaming and was up til 10pm, then she woke @ 12 but went back down ok, and slept until 6am - so not too bad.  it's exact same as when she was teething before and her top right tooth looks ready to pop - here's hoping! Grace has also started wanting to stand on her own, i hold her hand and she shakes me off and stands for a bit on her own, last night was the longest we've seen and it was so exciting!!!

we have so much snow here today, and blizzards forecast for later - OMG!  i am so not looking forward to driving in it.  last time it was like this i was pregnant and trying to get to my first ante natal class!!! lol.

hope everyone is well today.  yas, when are you getting your car back?

Morning all

Sorry not been on for a while have been suffering with headaches sooooo bad got them last time with Joseph.

Sharon I know what you mean with the teeth Joseph has just got his top one and we had a week of 2,3,and 4am starts from him but it did settle, am in shock as hewas so tired last night and went to bed an hour early at 7pm and hes still asleep he never sleeps this late norm up at 7am so think its when they feel ready, have to admit mind I do try to leave him to see if he will drop back off sometimes as he does. Im sure once that tooth is here itll go back to normal.

Went shopping yesterday just to get out the house, Joseph pulled both his socks off and it was a couple of shops latr when I realized he didnt have them on, such a struggle to keep things on his feet, dont bother when we are indoors waste of time.

Have a small bump starting to show now but still loosing weight nto a worry as I never lost all my weight after Joseph so is good am now 15 weeks and cant wait for my next scan in Jan It feels like yesterday I was doing this all with Joseph, and I too cant belive they are all nearly 1, I have got Joseph a bean chair with his name on and a stocking as I know mil has got him loads of stuff so am not going overboard myself.

Have a good day its cold here too and dont fancy walking anywhere today.

morning

kate i love ebay you can get new things for cheaper than the shops its fab

sharon hope Grace gets better at sleeping soon im sure its just one of those things that will come and go teething doesnt help, we have no snow here still but is very icy and cold

bernadette has the midwife said why you are losing weight glad you have a little bump coming now its so nice when you know there is a bump and baby is in there i have had my first movement this week and it feels so nice so looking forward to seeing baby week friday

my car is going to be ready today thank god and alisha school is off as got heating problem,so im going to nip into town and get some bits n bobs from boots etc trying to get someone to have girls but no one is free so sitting here trying to think of someone i can ask as there not going to mils,

has anyone put xmas tree up yet?

Show/hide user stats

Yes midwife says its prob due to how much I put on with Joseph and is using up that for me so not a bad thing I put on 5 stone last time and had only lost 2 before falling pregnant since then Ive lost 1 and half stone so is still ok is better then putting it on, she says as long as keytones etc are fine baby is getting all the rigt stuff so not to worry so I dont and am planning to weigh less at this birth then last time hopefully, lots of excercise looking after munchkin will help plus all the walking as I dont yet drive and we live on a hill now we are at inlaws.

Xmas tree not going up till week before xmas mil has a real one and still insits even thoug if it drops Joseph will eat the pines so have to be carefull!!!!

How many weeks are you now Yas?

Show/hide user stats
hi i was 16 weeks yesterday but been feeling some little kicks since weekend like something is just poking me softly nothing big yet but its always around 7ish and when in bed i feel them i will be nearly 18weeks when i have my scan so im hoping they will be able to tell me the gender, every pregnancy so far has been different not one the same so its very hard to tell if i feel like i did with the girls or like hassan but i think its another boy but not sure if thats cause i would like another boy so very confusing have you got an thought to what you might be having ?
Show/hide user stats

Hi yeah think this one is a girl apart from the headaches everything is different from the sickness to loosing weight no dizzy spells either this time, plus craving fruit lots and lots instead of crap mostly chocolate and opal fruits with Joseph this time I couldnt even smell chocolate at first without being ill, lucky you scan week fri and you only a week ahead of me mines at 22 weeks 19th jan seems like ages away.

Joseph currently is sat is his chair stuffing his face with satsuma and melon loves his fruit well any food he can feed himself with really!

Hope your all haveing a good day dispite the weather.

Show/hide user stats

i was going to go out but called garage and they said there not sure what time they are dropping car off and picking other one up so still waiting lucky alisha is off today as knowing my luck with them they would come when got school run but too clod to go anyway expecting snow tonight so looks like tomorrow is a stay in day too

i was chocolate made with the girls but went off it with hassan and not really into chocolate again this time but saying that alisha was different to sofia and i thought she would be a boy as everything was different turned out she was a girl too lol i cant wait to find out knowing me though the legs will be crossed or something so they wont be able to tell boys are harder than girls though hassan is a right little boy he is always doing something he shouldnt be always up to no good hubby calls him a bull dog cause he is just a mad head and not even one yet thinkim goingn to have my hands full with hassan when he is older

did anyone watch eastenders last night omg it made me cry and brought back memories the part when roxy was in the hospital with her baby

Show/hide user stats

Aaah you to making me jealous talking pregnancy again!!!!!!!! Wow cant believe that was me this time last year, with not long left to go and now you two are doing it again! In some ways would love to be there too but am still planning a few more months of just us first. By this time next year maybe!!

Yes eastenders nearly made me cry and I cried today at the gym when I heard the conjoined twin had died last night. All baby things make me cry these days!

Sharon glad you had a slightly better night, and hope it doesnt snow too much. Down in Kent weve not had any but it is bloody freexing. Nathaniel is currently having his afternoon nap and I am just doing him some mashed potato!

Show/hide user stats

hi girls

i'm on for a good moan!!! lol.  all this baby talk, awww i'm so excited for you both, i remember being soooooo excited this time last year!

i cried @ easties too, so sad watching it.

well here goes!!! i'm so p*****ed off with my childminder.  She text me an hour ago to say could she drop Grace off @ home instead of me collecting her, which would be fine but the reason is 'cause she gets her daughter from dancing, but not only that 'cause she needs to go to tesco for shopping, so the whole time Grace is in and out of the car like a yo yo and she's not a fan of the car @ the best of times, plus she'll probably fall asleep @ some point and be so grouchy when she gets home and i will have a battle to get her to eat her tea.  the thing is, my childminder knows that i don't want grace being taken in the car too much 'cause it upsets her nap times!!!  OMG  childminder just dropped G off and was in so much of a hurry to get home that she didn't even say how she'd been, and although she writes stuff down i still like to knw how she has been.  Aaaarrrgggh.  Definitely looking @ nurseries over christmas me thinks...

better go get the little munkies supper on!

xxxx

Show/hide user stats
ah sharon sorry to hear you are having trouble with the cm, dont loose faith in all of them though. Personally I deliberately started with both a childminder and a nursery so that I could compare and nurseries have disadvantages too. I would look around for other cm coz some are really good. Nurseries often also dont stick to your routine either but dont take any crap from this woman!! Good luck sorting it out xx
Show/hide user stats

hi kate

we gonna look @ nurseries etc over the holidays so will see how we go!!

well we had a better night, and although Grace woke twice it wasn't for long and she slept til 7am.  her tooth is almost through so i'm hoping by the weekend it will be here and it might settle her a bit!!!!!

i need to go out today to do the last of my shopping (not working today) but we have blizzards forecast so need to see how the weather goes 'cause the snow is still lying but it's so cold it's turned to ice.

hope everyone is well this morning

Hey girls,

It's snowing!! Me and Fe are listening to cheesy Christmas songs on VH1 in our jamas today. Got to make the most of the Christmassy cosy feeling.

We currently have 5 and a bit teeth and have been told that Felix will probably be on the X Factor in 15 years (he likes music and movement class even if the other kids find it boring lol). Not much else happening here. I went down to London last weekend to see family. Felix was fairly good on the train. Listened to a blazing row in the flat upstairs while we were there- that was fun. Last time we stayed there we could hear them really going at it at about 2 in the morning and then a bang and someone saying ow and laughing, so think they might have fallen off the bed. It's never dull in that flat haha.

Hope everyone is well and enjoying putting up decorations with littlens pulling them all back down. X

hi sherry

good to hear from you!  love pyjama days!!!  Our snow is nearly all melted but more forecast for later... sounds like you had a good time in London.

We're putting our tree up tomorrow night, hubby has just been put on guard duty so won't see him until i get back from work tomorrow night which is rubbish.  i had a really bad dream last night and it's left me a bit shaken and the one person i need a hug from is him!  it was really vivid and when I woke it was like i was paralysed in bed, and Grace was crying and i couldn't get to her - it was really awful.

got the last few bits of my Christmas shopping done so now all i need is to wrap them up! lol.  i've missed a parcel delivery so will need to wait until Saturday to collect it, and it's for my friend who is over from dublin and I'm seeing her on Saturday! lol lol!

xxxx

morning

sharon i would def change childmonder soulds like she is too busy in her own life to look after children and is not doing for enjoyment but for the extra money but like kate said there are ones out there that do it cause they enjoy it and it makes them feel like they have achived something by it not just cause of money xx

kate how are you and nath x

sherry glad you enjoyed your outing to london those teeth are coming out now soon be all over with

hassan had 8 teeth so far and think another two are coming he has cut them good really not much trouble and 4 came at the same time so glad that happened get it over and done with he also has started to walk holding your hand so im hoping he will be walking on his own soon have tried to balance him but it only lasts a few seconds before his legs bend but he laughs his head off and he is so proud when he walks

mickayla you not been on for a while hope all is ok and well

helen have you had your dates from work yet to if your working xmas or not

caz hope all is ok with you too

fay, bernadette, susan, heidi minds gone blank but everyone hope your all ok and come on and say hi
