   Im Laura and currently have  a thread similar to this in the TTC forum.

im looking for advice and experiances and as everyone in this forum is either pregant or has been pregnant i thoughte you ladies would be the best people to ask.

I will be 3 weeks late for my period. 5 HPTS came back negative after being a week and half late. I had a blood test last Monday (2weeks late) that also came back negative. I have done no other tests since last Monday.

I am experiancing waves of symptoms but the main one is back ache and exhaustion at the moment. I nearly fell asleep earlier whilst shopping at Tescos!  Neusea comes and goes in waves and skin has got really really bad to the point where i was nearly in tears s i have never suffered with spots.

has any of you ladies discovered you were pregnant after getting a negative blood test result? I know it is possible but was wondering how common (or uncommon) it is!

forgot to mention that i have a 30 days cycle and am normally dead to the day so this is very unbusual for me. i have been experiancing these symptoms the the last 5 weeks now!

I think ill leave it until ive missed another period then pester them again i think.

Im not convincing myself them im pregnant, if anything im willing AF to show so i can start trying again!

hi laura ive just been on a website that there are 2 kinds of blood tests for pregnancy,

1 checks for a rise in hcg this takes about 10 days after conception to build up enough.

2 just checks to see if it is over 5 hcg in your blood and just gives a yes/no result. 

it depends on which test your gp did,i believe that you should follow your instincts and try another test.

well im convinced im going to come on. Took another test today which was neg and im now getting belly cramps and back ache so

If AF is going to show i wish she would hurry up so i can strat trying again.

HiLauraI had negative test after negative test with my second son but all the symptoms. After 6 weeks of no period I eventually got a really faint line on my MSU test which was confirmed by a Doc a few days later. I didn't get a clear positive till I was 7 weeks gone.

I hope you are pregnant if you want it so much. I remeber being like that andit is horrid. You would rather come on and know where you are than not know and live in hope.

Heres hoping it happens really really soon for you. I have everything crossed.

   Thanks for your post. I still have not g=had a period. Going by my last one if i am pregnant i would now be 10 weeks tomorrow. I done another HPT today which was negative.

   What is a MSU test?

I agree i would just rather come on so i know where i am. Im all over the place at the moment. Some days i have symptoms other days i dont. Its heartbreaking not knowing whjats happening with my own body.

Oh Laura I am sorry.

I was talking to my M-I-L and she said she had that a few times (they had a right struggle to have children) and had to have a D&C three or four times. She said she was gutted everytime, but I guess that is so rare and it was almost 40 years ago now and things do change.

I really hope something positive happens for you really soon.

    I havent been on here for a while. So thought id let you know how im doing.

I stil havent had a period. felt pretty normal the last week. Just been getting on as normal but today im feeling extremely low and vry very tearful. I have to take ANOTHER urine sameple in to the doctors on Monday for them to test, i can tell them what is going to say though before they even do it so i cant see the point in it really.

I saw a different doctor last week (shes the one who has asked me to take the sample in). she viewed my blood results that i had done in May and she said that one of my hormone levels ws slighlt elevated which could mean i have slight PSCO. Would this make me miss three periods, which i nealry have done as my 3rd one would be due 21st July if the other 2 has arrived.

How are you hun. Is all well?

Well im going to keep pushing until they do something to get me off thier case. Im feeling so so low today border line bursting into tears. Have no idea why, just fed up now i think. Got very bad back ache today as well which i havent had for a while.

Hope it all goes well on Monday babes.

before I had my first baby they told me i couldnt have children as i only had one or two periods a year and my hormones were all over for years but then all of a sudden they settled and when they did I got pregnant within a few months...by surprise as it happens!

Good to hear from you again.  Please do keep us up to date.  I think of you from time to time and wonder how you're getting on.

There are people on my thread with PCOS so don't worry too much about it affecting your chances of TTC. 

At least the doc is taking positive action - even if what she's doing seems a bit pointless to you.  Once all the possibles have been ruled out...you should have an answer to this problem.

Im hoping to get some answers soon to as this is all getting a little ridiculous now. I cant believe ive nearly missed three periods. Its bad and so frustrating. We are thinkign about stopping TTC for a while as its getting a bit stressful at the minute with everything that is going n. We may start again when all the test reults come back.

If be some sort of mirical, going from my last period i would be due jan 27th. How wierd is that. I just wish it was the out come.
