Claire, I use rennie tablets/milk and gaviscon (I agree it's horrible!) Vicky, I'd check with your mw about your dates. Best to double check everything sooner rather than later. No juicy gossip from me, I'm afraid. Thanks Marie for the update on Lisa - I spend so much time now scanning the Due March thread for more news. I'm so disappointed Lisa is only 25 weeks today. I thought she was a week further on. I'm now keeping my fingers corssed that they can stall the labour at least until Christmas. Oh and yes, you do smell Marie. Sorry

Hey Loopy - i value your honesty! Im off home for a bath - lol I havent heard from Lisa personally since I posted the text message the other day, Im just praying that no news is good news! My heart really does go out to her & hubby, they must be going out of their minds with worry! It just doesnt bare thinking about! Yes, she's only 25 weeks today I think! I thought they would induce labour within 48 hours of your waters breaking to avoid infection but I think I may have linked that stat with a normal term pregnancy. And as she still has "some" waters left, Im assuming baby is still protected if only very slightly! At the end of the day she is in the best place, but Im with you! The longer bubble stays inside the better s/he will be for it! I got very emotional about it all the other night, James said it was sweet in the sense of how we clearly all care a great deal about one another even though we've never met, but like I said to him, when you talk to someone every day, sometimes discussing quite personal & intimate things, you feel like you've known them forever! Im sure Lisa would be very touched my all our thoughts & best wishes! Well its nearly home time for me ladies! Only 8 weeks left at work as of tomorrow! I never thought Id wish xmas & new year away but the sooner it hurrys up the sooner I'll be off! When is everyone else finishing? Hope you all have relaxing evenings, speak to you in the morning! xxxx

Afternoon ladies - just a quick hello as its not always easy posting at work depending on who's around. I have four weeks left at work - 2 before and 2 after Xmas. I have to say I have started to count down the days as well. Work just seems never ending and there are so many changes here that I am def leaving at the right time! Claire - how is your back? Well we have booked a mini 4D scan which they offer here so are having it on 22nd December. You guys are the only ones I am telling though as me and DH have decided this is just for us. We can decide over Xmas whether or not to show people. We won't be finding out the sex though! It is £80 and includes a scan, then the 4D scan with 3 x pics and a 10 min DVD which we though was plenty. Am still in 2 minds about it but am getting really impatiant to see my baby

Sara that's fab. You don't have to look that closely to see it. Definitely a happy baby. Amazing to see baby do baby things when it's in the womb. It's so hard to visualise when you're staring at your bump! Babybelle, you've got a bargain there! Our 4D scan with 4 pictures and 10-minute DVD costs £135 (and that's with a ten percent discount!) Two days and counting...can't wait!

Morning all, How is everyone ? Marie - It is nice to have u back with us. U r right tho it is very quiet on here at the moment. Well i finish up work 2 weeks 2day and i can not wait. I will miss being at work but i will be so glad of having some time off and getting some rest esp after the week ive had. I have been ill all week but got the midwife on monday so will see wot she says on monday. Babybelle - My back is getting a bit better still finding it hard to move about but i thinkthat is because i feel so heavy. Well girls i think i experianced braxton hicks last night for the 1st time and it was awful, sore and very uncomfortable. U should have seen the state of me. To make it worse i was sick last night as well so i was in bed for half 8 last night and sleeping for 8.45pm. How sad am i ??

Sara - the video is great! I agree you can see your baby yawning really easily. I am excited about it - it will be good to see my baby up close and personal - that is if the baby plays ball as in my 20 weeks scan he was all curled up which made it difficult to see anything! Yes Marie I agree its great that its Friday , I live for the weekends now as work is such a chore!! Had a really emotional night last night, started crying in the car on the way home and just couldn't get over it. Ended with really bad upset tummy so spent most of the night in bed watching TV with DH. Probably what I needed as felt completely shattered. Still not feeling that great today. Must remember I have just recovered from a nasty virus and am 29 weeks pregnant!!! On the up side we go all our nursery decoration yesterday from Mamas and Papas. Only ordered it at the weekend as they had 10%. We are having Zeddy and Parsnip and it is sooo lovely!!! Can't wait to see it all together after the furniture arrives in Jan x

Claire - we posted at the same time!! Glad your back is getting better and sorry you were sick - I was too, must have been something in the air last night

Thanx Babybelle - Yeah it must have been something in the air last night it was horrible tho. It is 1 thing i cant cope with is being sick and i have had it most the way thro my pregnancy. Have u experianced braxton hicks yet ? Dont worry about getting emotional, i was like that this morning and i dont know y but OH gave me a hug and i started crying. He has been so worried about me this week as i really havent been keeping well at all and he has tried to persuade me a few time to stay off work but im determined not to but i think i prob should have. I was watching im a celebrity on wed night and i was sitting in floods of tears cos they all got video msg from there families lol. Sad i know lol I would love to have a 4d scan but as i only have 8 weeks left i dont really see the point now. I think i will next time (not that that will be anytime soon lol) but i have left it a bit late as i am hoping this baby comes early. xx

Hey! D'you know, I dont think Ive ever experienced braxton hicks - dont know whether thats a good thing or a bad thing! Its all very bizarre isnt it? Ive been very lucky in the sense that Ive never had a "false" labour either! Both times arrived at the hospital & delivered within 4 hours - lets hope im even quicker this time! Its strange that the most bizarre things can push us over the edge isnt it? I'll cry over james not putting the washing in the tumble dryer or something just as stupid! I too live for the weekends but sometimes I think it can be easier being at work for me! If we're not swimming with the kids we're off doing something else & sometimes Im so tired that I just want to sleep! Which doesnt quite work with 2 other sprogs to look after! But its all good fun! x

Oh Claire - this pregnancy lark is just an emotional rollercoaster isn't it!!! My stomach pain last night was so bad I was worried I was going into labour. I actually said to DH that if this is what labour pain is like I don't think I will be able to cope - what a flake!!! Oh and my actual name is Claire too so maybe its a "Claire" thing as I have been nauseus and sick pretty much through the whole pregnancy. Nothing like the first 17 odd weeks but it does come back if do too much and don't rest enough Marie I can't imagine what its like to have kids to look after when you are feeling so rubbish, I have to admit I am making the most in wallowing in myself at the mo as I know once the baby comes that's it for many, many years. Not a great thought. I don't think I have experienced Braxton Hicks yet but I am about 3 weeks behind you so there is plenty of time. I think my sister was a similar amount of weeks pregnant that you are before she felt them. Maybe I won't get any. Thank goodness only 2 more hours of work....I really cannot wait to get home although all I have to look forward to is housework as a load of friends are coming to stay tomorrow. At least its the weekend x

Lol marie, the kids def keep you on your toes lol Wots your plans with the kids this weekend ? Do you have your xmas tree yet ? God i cant believe you have never had braxton hicks esp as this is ur 4th baby, u r so lucky. I iwas in so much pain last night that i thought kev was going to have to call the hosp but they past after 15 mins but quite scary as i wasnt quite sure wot was going on. I keep kidding that i am going to be in the fastlane for labour, i will be 10 mins in and out lol. Knowing me i will be in alot longer than that lol. U have done well with ur labours marie - under 4 hours well done. Fingers crossed ur like that this time xx
