Odd one but need your help!!

I normally have a slight bleed on day 1 then nothing for a day then three days period.  when would you count the ay 1 of my cycle?

THis month i had a slight bleed day 1 then nothing for three days then started tonight so am completely confused as to when to count as day 1?

 Any advice???!!

The first day of your cycle is when you get a proper bleed eg red or very dark and it is more than spotting. if you get spotting a couple of days before you dont count that as your period. Hope that helps
