Hi Shell

Really sorry I forgot to mention you and you were one of the first ones to talk to me. I do apologise. Fingers crossed for your results I will be thinking of you. I am a bit of a footy fan myself so maybe watching but the most important one for me is tomorrow night when Man U play in Milan. You will probably hear me shouting even where you live.

Anyway hope you and everyone else enjoys the sunny evening.

Hi All

I just had a very interesting telephone convo with a midwife at the local hospital.
I rang to explain that my midwife had not been in touch and i was concerned about this bump to my tummy in case i am 9 wks as it would have happened at the time that i conceived and she said that according to her roller thing she thinks that the one and a half day period was implantation bleeding and that i am now 8 weeks.
She said that the bang would not have hurt me or little one at all as the baby is below your pubic bone until you reach 12wks when it moves up. Unless you are having twins.... because if you are having twins then the whole cycle is 4wks ahead of a normal pregnancy.

SO thats set my mind at ease no end... only the drinking, flying etc to worry about now.

We are going to Dan's mums for tea tonight - cant wait - her roasts are the best... just what i need today!

Julie that is good news then it puts your mind at rest. Go and enjoy your roast you deserve and remember to go for second helpings as dont forget now you are eating for two (ha ha)!!

Thanks Jackie

Still doesnt feel real.
She said i would be exactly 8 weeks and one day today......
But i had no symptoms for the first month - or maybe i did but because i thought i wasnt preg i just dismissed them?

My baps are growing - i have really noticed today. Not aching as much today but you wait till i take this bra off later - its like a knife stabbed in the nipple till i grab them! I am only a size 34C so goodness knows what they are gonna be like later on.....

Has anyone heard from Toni?

Julie I was a 34C before I had my daughter but I can's remember what size I went up to - enjoy having big ones I remember at the start I used to have to sleep in my bra as they were so heavy when I took it off and I could not even lie on them. That actually does all go away until the milk starts coming and then it is all fun fun fun

Hi girls, Wow Julie I cant believe you could already be 8 weeks gone! Thats amazing.

As I said still no joy for us, but we're still trying. Just got back from New York last week, we spoilt ourselves rotten and the hubby even treat me to a gorgeous necklace from Tiffany's!

Due my next AF this week so who knows!?

Hi girls,

Julie thats good news. Did you do a test after or just before your short bleed last month?

Nicole and Polly, hope things get moving for both of you soon.

Shell, so glad your feeling more relaxed, hopefully you will be full flow soon in the ttc and you will get a big positive on the OV sticks.

Claire fingers crossed you wont get your af. Will you call it Brooklyn hehe.

Good luck and lots of babydust to all who are ttc. Lots of glue to Julie, Emma and Kerry. (hope I havent forgot anyone)

HI All

Leanne i did a test on the 30th March which was the day that my period was due and it was negative but then i started bleeding that evening... then it stopped.

Maybe they are wrong with my dates but who knows - my first scan will show a true picture.

Morning everyone on this beautiful sunny day. I feel like I have a spring in my step this morning. Af coming to an end and this is where the fun starts to begin.

Good luck to all those ttc and congratulations to all those who have.

Hi Toni

I went onto the due December thread and no one seems to want to talk to me so i am back here with people who do!

Hi Julie, I am rarely on the due december page myself. No one seem to answer my questions so I stopped checking. I have been a bit ill with hay fever, tooth ache, back che, you mane it!i am signd off work for a week so I am just relaxing at home and eating like a pig. I am now size 14 and only 8 weeks gone..heheheh.

My midwife appoint is end of this month..I have also received my mat exemption certificate..it's really scaring..can't feel anything inside me yet except my tummy is huge and my boobs are humongous...ehheh

Hope ur feeling good Julie..I am very pleased for you I swear.

Whats a mat exemption cert?

This thread is much nicer.....

So me and you are at the exact same stage i am 8wk and 2 days today - 9 weeks on Monday..

My tummy is quite swollen and my baps are growing - i said to Dan last night that this bra doesnt seem to be holding me very well and he just laughed.
I have always wanted bigger boobs.

So far i am just suffering with the bac, tummy and top of legs ache - especially at night which is getting to me a little.
No sickness - does that mean we are in the clear now if we havent been sick so far?

This midwife still hasnt called me!

I have to call the doctors at 4 for my test result as they routinely re-check all preg's so that they have the test on file....

Mat exemption cert is free presciption drugs for you till your baby is one year old. I will be 9 weeks on Sunday Julie..so we got pregger same time then..how wonderful is it.

We went clothes shopping for me on Sunday with my hubby, I bought loads of bras and mat dresses. Apparently underwired is not good cos it blocks circulation so stay away from them.

I hope we are in the clear darling. My first scan is nt till the 30th and mid wife appoitnment is on the 7th July so far away I know but can't do anything about it.

Yeah, think I am gonna stay on here too. Can't seem to get anywhere with peeps on the due december thread lol.
