Hi everyone, I'm new to the site and wanted to introduce myself. I'm Nicola and I'm 30 years old, we've been trying to conceive for 3 months now, I'm should be ovulating towards the end of the week so fingers crossed for this month! I can't believe how it's on my mind all of the time. I've already got two children a boy 7 and girl 5,we didn't think we would be doing this again. Good luck to all those trying to conceive and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Nicola, we've been trying for the last two months also, I'm 31 and this will be my first! Didn't realise until we started trying what a small window there is when something can actually happen! And like you it's constantly on my mind (not a good thing I know!).

My partner is working tonight, but he wrote in my valentines card that this time next year we will spend it together or with the three of us! Which I thought was sweet!

Good luck to you.

Hi Louise, I wonder if this will be be the month for us! I had a mirena coil removed in September and was told that my fertility would return to normal straight away, but my periods have been a bit off, only by a few days but it's hard to pinpoint ovulation, I think I ovulated yesterday which was on day 9 of my cycle! My next period is due 3rd March or before if it's only 25 days like last period.

Goodluck and keep in touch, it's good to talk to people in the same situation.

Hi Nicola, welcome to TB!

Just as a bit of encouragement I was at a similar stage with ttc when I joined this site many months ago, I'm now 28 weeks' pregnant!

There's a whole bunch of charters on the site, many of them just starting out with charting and quite a few of us who successfully used charting before conception, so lots of help, advice and sympathy to be found.

Good to see another new face and look forward to seeing you in the pregnancy folder before too long.

Thanks Nicola, I am!
As you've already got two you'll have an idea of what it's like. Hope you get a little brother or sister for them soon...

Nicola, Good luck to you this month.

I was on the pill for about 12 years and stopped taking them early December. Luckily my periods (only had two) have been regular. I'm due on next weekend (so have my fingers crossed), although don't feel any different - so think nothing has happened this month, but you never know!

Keep in touch with your progress.

Hi Louise, Goodluck for next weekend, I hope it's good news. The waiting is awful, we'll have to keep busy! Keep me informed.I'm hoping for good news this time,my period due 3rd march so still got quite a wait!
Goodluck again.

Hiya everyone

Me and my boyfriend have been ttc for nearly 18 months now and nothing has happend

Iam only 18, i have been with my boyfriend for 2 years. (he is 20)  Before i got wit my current boyfriend, i was with another partner for 1 1/2 yrs, he cheated on me 4 times during te relationsip shortly after finishing the relationship i went for an examination to be on the safe side, it came back with chlamydia being positive I have had it treated now, it didn't work twice, I am so scared that this is stopping me from conceiving

Any advise about fertility tests/kits would be really appreciated

Lauz .XX.
