I started selling Usborne books last year after my 2nd baby was born. I just couldn't afford the childcare for 2. I love my job. I work when I want, usually when my husband or mum can take the kids or I take them with me. Most playgroups and toddler groups don't mind them toddling on with you. The best bit is all the books my kids now have which I get at discounted prices or free. It is amazing. If anyone is interested please get in touch.

Hi Emma.

The start up kit is £38 and you receive £100 worth of books, catalogues, leaflets, order forms etc to get you started with your own business. There i sno pressure with Usborne and no sales targets although the more you do the more you earn obviously and the more free books you can claim. Nobody hassles you to sell more but someone is always available to answer questions and to offer advice when needed. Commission is 24% and you can sell just about anywhere that there are parents or grandparents. This time of year is a good time to get into it as everybody is always looking for presents and this can set you up for contacts for the coming year. If you want more info email me your address and I will gladly send you more stuff including some leaflets etc.

Best of luck. When is your baby due?

Just thought I would let everybody know that the kit is only £19 again until the end of January. Great value - £100 of books and stationery to get you started. Let me know if you want more information. You could start the new year with a new career!

Hi Morag, Can I have some more info from Usborne too please, also, I'm trying to get hold of a particular book of Usbornes and wondered if you could help please? It's called the Usborne baby and toddler treasury. We were given it as a gift, but as we had twins, thought it would be nice to get them one each.

Thanks

Hi Morag,

I'm currently a Body Shop consultant but could still do with some more cash (as every mother can!) Could you email me some more info please, in particular, do you think I could continue to do both opportunities simultaneously?

Many thanks,

Sarah Waldron
