Have a 9 month old and am preggers again. Will need a double pushchair and am just after advice on whether to get a side by side or a front and back one. Thanks!

Hi Janet, congratulations on the pregnancy! How far gone are you?

I think the side-by-side or front and back question is a really personal one. I think that front and back is potentially problematic as one child can't see the other, and also you can't see both children well (depending on the model).

On the plus side for back and fronts is the size issue, there's one buggy in particular, the Marco sky that packs up really small and doesn't take up noticeably more space than a single buggy.

In the side by side buggies there's one that has been given the thumbs up by a couple of mums on here, I think it's by out n about, but if you check in the member reviews you'll find it.

The other thing to watch out for in doubles is seat reclining. In some one seat will recline completely for a new born, while others are only suitable for the younger child from 3 months or so.
I'd say being able to position both seats at different angles is a must.

Hi Anna, thanks for that. Only just found out really but like to plan ahead!

No problem Janet. I'm like that too, especially with big things like buggies it makes sense not to rush it.
