Hello, I have just recently purchased the Maclaren xlr and am now a cured pramaholic. I have bought so many pram thinking this will make life easier etc. and never found one until now. For anyone thinking about purchasing this model i would say "go for it".
My little boy is now 12 months old but I would happily use this from birth. When it arrived i was shocked at how padded and luxurious it was for a stroller. It comes with a padded liner, shoulder straps and head support. It looks fantastic, rides brilliantly thanks to it's single spoke suspension, is brilliant for all weathers - comes with padded boot and the hood comes right down to shied baby from sun, wind, rain (raincover included as well, which may i add is fab because it folds down really small to fit it basket).
Also it's fab because it came accomodate a larger, heavier child- up to 29 kg. Most strollers only go to 15 kg and in my experience that is a 2 yr old toddler.
I can't rate this pushchair enough and neither can all the people who stop me in the street to admire it. I bought the tan/crimson model and as you can probably tell am very much in love with it!
