has any one else noticed the lack of childrens cutlery available for toddlers in the brewers fayre type restraunts ? on several occasions now upon purchasing a toddlers meal i have not been offered any cutlery for my son who is 19 months old. when i ask staff, all they offer is either a teaspoon ( have you ever tried eating chips with a teaspoon !) or an adult fork which was nearly bigger than my son !!!

i have complained  to the whitbread group about this, which they informed me a month ago would be dealt with, but to date thwere is still no cutlery available.

so come on mums, have a look next time you are in and see if your child is being discriminated against....the more of us complain the more action they might take!!

I've taken my daughter (now 2) out to a wide range of restaurants and have never been offered small cutlery at any of them- even been given a large dessert spoon with a child's portion of ice cream.  I always keep a set of her own with a plate & bowl in her going out bag and we're always ready for eating out.
