So...how do you all feel about babies wearing jewelry? I'm talking about small babies with their ears pierced or wearing a necklace or bracelet. Those are the types of jewelry I see most often on babies.

Do you like it?
Do you do it?
Do you think it's right or wrong?

Hi Kelly well I think it's a personal decision but I like little bangles but think chains are not really well worth it as youngsters may pull at them and break them. As for pierced ears i'm not really sure how I feel I like pierced ears but think it depends on how young the child is. If it's a tiny baby then I don't think I would.

Are you planning on buying some jewellary for a baby then?

I don't like it, but I don't think it's wrong. I wouldn't want my children to have piercings, but if that's your style then I don't really think it can hurt, can it?

What sort of age of children are you talking about? (Mine are 2 and 5 months, so perhaps below the age range you're referring to?)

I was thinking of getting my niece a bangle or something.

My daughter is 8 years old now but when she was a baby, I just didn't think a piercing was good parenting at all - (don't get mad with me, parents with babies with earing!), I think it is cute I just would not be able to cope with my baby screaming with the pain! Heck, I invented a safety hat so she wouldn't bang her head while she was learning to walk!

No, I think jewelry has its place but only when the person themselves (talking about piercing), has agreed that they want it.

Mind you in saying that, I went crazy when my 15 year old son came home with an eyebrow piercing - but thats another story!
