Hello can anyone help? i am 6 weeks pregnant and already thinking about what happens when you cant see over your belly to shave legs and bikini!! can you have waxing done when pregnant? i know your skin becomes more sensitive thats why i thought i would ask x

Hi Dawn congrates on your pregnancy, I found getting waxed when pregnant painful as your hormone balance changes, maybe ask and see what they advise. By the time your bump gets bigger you will not care. I used cream on the outside and let the rest as by that time I didnt care anymore. Good luck Tracey and Luca 9months x

Hiya Dawn, Cograts on the bump. I was able to shave myself right up til i gave birth, my bump stayed quite small. It did get more tricky in the end but i did just about manage. Some ladies like to get their partner to shave them (i wasn't to keen on that idea) or the hair removal creams are god to use. Some woman dont really care by that point tho hun so you may be like that. I personnally had to have a good tidy up even after my labour started! lol. Good luck with the pregnancy. Mickayla and Ella-Sofia (3months) x x

thank you for your advise! suppose at this stage i am still in shock and its just great!! i got told i couldnt have children when i was 16 so this is my miracle baby any other tips? x

Aww wow you must be very excited then Dawn. Umm, I found really sugary sweets like 'fruit salads' were good for sickness, as were fresh cropped up apples. I suffered horribly with sickness for 5 months but those things really helped. Try and keep things as normal as you can with your partner, especially your sex life (sorry if too much info). It can be really hard to get in the swing of things if you give it up for to long. Also I got really moody with my partner over eveything so i tried my hardest to sometimes take a step back and realise that it was my hormones making me angry and not him (altho a lot of the time i'm sure it was him!!! hehe). x x x x

unfortunatley i wont be with the father. i am going to have to be a single mum! never mind not the first and wont be the last thanks for the advise! the morning sickness has just started!! i have heard about ginger biscuits so i brought some of those yesterday x

Hi dawn congrates on the baby ... Babies are a blessing and yours seems to be a miracle so embrace ..... I bled when i was 6 weeks and got scared about everything so i decided to stop waxing because i thought the pain would send me into labour and make me miscarry so i just used those removal creams for the first trimester... Then all of a sudden i couldn't see past my belly and grew quite a bush I went for a check up and got real embarrased because i am so used to having a brazillian so to have a big bush was NOT me ...... i asked my partner to trim it which was uncomfortable and funny at the same time i didn't trust him with the cream (he is too much of a joker and i might have ended up with an S shape down there) but it was good for him to get used to being at that end for the labour other then that i would say ask a good friend to do it or just let it grow if you can't see past your belly in the second trimester the doctors must see millions of bushes every day so i doubt yours will faze them LOL it just depends on how comfortable you feel with it if your just not used to it oh ....dry crackers really helped the sickness and i was sick every day for about 20 weeks so try that good luck my love Rae x

haha thank you Rae well as i havent got a partnee cant really ask him. i hate it when it grows though cos gets so itchy!! i have tried to use the creams before but i think they are rubbish? oh well! watch out dcotors!! bush alert!! lol
|
 |
Ha Ha dawn maybe they should hand out 'bush alert' signs to pregnant woman. I hope you enjoy your prgnancy hun. You sound very positive about it and your right many woman do it alone, my mum did and did a fantastic job too. I couldn't imagine anyone else trimming my bush. I did get into some pretty funky positions in order to get past my bump tho, glad no one was in the bathroom whan i was doing that . x x
|
 |
oh and you can get those razors that have the shave gel kind of built in that might make things a little easier too. x x x
