Hi girls,

Where's the best place to buy maternity clothes? I have just started to show and I'd like to find some preggy clothes that are still relatively flattering and 'cool'!

Hi Sophie,
JoJo Maman Bebe, Blooming Marvellous and Mamas & Papas are always good options! JoJo has a great wrap dress at the moment and Blooming has got some fun slogan t-shirts that say things like "it started with a kiss!"
Hope that helps!

Next to nothing (next clearence) is a great place for bargains. I got all of my things there.

Great thanks Zoe and Debbie! Will definitely try those! Was on the net and came across another - "Isabella Oliver" maternity clothes!? They look great too - fashionable and flattering! They are endorsed by Trinny from 'What not to wear'! Well now that I've got some good options - I'm looking forward to a shopping spree! Thanks again!

I second JoJo, there's quite a lot of choice and it's good if you want something that's not at all dowdy.

If you're after office clothes there's a site called businessbump (not sure if .com or .co..uk). I haven't used it, but a friend of mine swore by it when she was pregnant last year.

Hey Georgina,
Great thank you! Just had a look at the Pumpkin Patch website and their clothes look fab! And really resonable! Unfortunately there isn't a store close to me but maybe i can order by mail! will give them a call!
You make a good point there's not much point in spending stax on maternity clothes as you'll only use them for nine months of your life - not even! And by the time I have another the fashion will prob have changed anyway! :)

Hi Sophie,

If you are looking for reasonable high street options, here are a few. Top Shop now do a maternity range, they sell baby bands which are like bube tubes for the belly. They are great because they add a layedered effect to your normal tops, so you don't have to spend loads on maternity tops. H & M also have quite a good range. And Red Herring in Debenhams also very reasonable on price but trendy too.

Hi, as a fashion victim I too struggled to find trendy maternity clothes, but Dorothy Perkins and TopShop have some great stuff - all casual though - and also www.funmum.com is great and reasonable too. Good luck!

I went shopping for similar stuff this weekend and was really impressed with H&M's range. Got loads of good quality, reasonably priced, lovely bits there. And they all make me look more pregnant rather than unflatteringly squeezed into my old too-small-for-me clothes! Topshop's also quite good.

I'm a devotee of Ebay for stuff that you know you're not going to wear for long! You can get maternity jeans for around a fiver & then spend more on funky tops!

Hennes H&M in Marble Arch has some fab baby clothes and also some really well styled and cheap maternity wear.

Dot Perkins has brill jeans for 20 quid.

Have managed to buy almost entire maternity wardrobe for under 200 quid...not bad...

I've got a few nights out coming up and wanted to show off my bump. I went to H&M and got some lovely combats, t shirts and jumpers that fit lovely AND are really comfortable. i also went to topshop and Zara for some smarter clothes. i even got a fab pair of skinny jeans with the extra panel in them so i am comfy and still a little fashionable. Also they where very reasonably priced.

I think its important not to rush out and buy a whole load of stuff but at the same time when nothing fits and you have to wear baggy tracksuits it does nothing to make you feel attractive. i found my self esteem shot up when i had a few pieces and my husband said i looked sexy in them (despite the huge panel).

 Happy Shopping!
