Greeting to all!Does anyone have any suggestions on books about babys first years and toddlers that are for dads,my partner is feeling a bit miffed that most bookstores have seemingly ignored dads

Armin A Brott's 'The new father: a dad's guide to the first year' is one I can recommend. It's a good read and not overly long - my husband found it very interesting and I had a good read of it too.

i've got through life by reading the same books as the wife.
as you can tell i'm also a member on here, yet my wife frequents another forum.
what i'd reccomend if he's after a book for himself is to go in to a large book store and browse for himself, as the style and layout of books varies and some people prefer one layout to another.
at the moment were starting weaning, a bought a book the same day as the wife, without knowing, back home the wife bought a reccomended book and i browsed before buying, were now using my book as the one the wife bought that was meant to be the bees knees turns out to be pages and pages of text that need to be read to gain any useful info, wheres the book i bought the bits you need to know are highlighted.

sorry just reread your post, saying most book stores don't seem to have anything, try your local borders or ottakers both in our area have an excellent selection.

i popped in to ottakers yesterday and had a quick look for you the two that stood out to me were: fatherhood the truth by marcus berkmann, which seems a light hearted read. and he's having a baby by jack o'sullivan, and forwarded by davina mccall
