my 6 week old baby girl seems to cry all day and evening even after a feed, but goes down at night at 930pm till 2.00pm. Thought it was colic or wind then reflux doctor prescribed medication but didnt work now investigating the posibility of a lactose intolarance she is also quite sicky and her cry starts of a wingy cry and then develops into a painfull one. Any advise wold be great thanks.

Hi Kate
Sorry to hear your daughter is having trouble settling. It's good that the intolerance is being checked out as this can cause real discomfort.
Have you tried cranial osteopathy? I did it with both my kids when they were a couple of weeks old as it was recommended to 'de-stress' after birth. It sounds like a load of old hippy nonsense but all I can say is I never had any bother with either ot them.
Obv that might have been just luck, but I do know other people who had unsettled babies and raved about this kind of (non invasive) therapy.

Hi Kate
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am based in London so the ones I know are here, but I am going to contact one of them today and see if they can recommend a reliable central source of links to other areas in the UK. LL x
