Hi all, do any of you know from how many weeks you can start listening to the babys heartbeat from home using a heart beat monitor? I'm now 13 weeks so just wondering how much longer I have to wait before I can start listening to it. (Although I havn't purchased one yet!!!)

Hi Michelle,

As far as i know you can start listening from as early as 12 weeks (although your baby is only about 5cm at this point!). The heartbeat can be located but may be hard to find at such an early stage in your pregnancy.
There are some good sites out there which offer rental services as well as the option to buy a Fetal Doppler.

Try www.anawiz.com for some good ideas!
