Hi everyone, I am a newbie and I hope you can give me some tips.

I came off the pill 8 months ago and I have to admit that I haven't been trying too hard to conceive till the last couple of months.

The problem I have is that my boyfriend can't ejaculate as he is finding that there is too much pressure to get the job done.

He says not to tell him when we need to try but if I do that, then we end up not having sex often enough and on the wrong dates. The thing is, it is not like I am trying to jump on him every day & I know he also wants a baby.

I don't know what to do and am finding it quite upsetting now but I don't feel like I can mention it to him as it stresses him out even more.

My sister-in-law is 10 weeks pregnant and I could not be more pleased for her but it is making me even more desperate with the problems I am having. It took her over a year to conceive and she has testing LH levels / temperature / watching what she ate etc. and I can't even manage to have full sex every 3 days. I don't know whether to laugh or cry!

Sorry for the long email. I hope you can offer some advice.

AJ
Hi Angela wow thats one hell of a prob it sounds like your partner has stage fright if you know what I mean, try to relax a little more stress will only make it more dificult, by all means make the first move but try to be less full on and try not to ask for sex maybe then he will relax too, I know it's difficult when you ache to be a Mum as I am in the same boat why not talk to your sister in law and maybe start taking your temp to see when your ovulating and time your sex that might help take some of the pressure off too. Also not ejaculating can be a sign of emotional distress sit down and have a long talk with your partner about his feelings and you can tell him how you feel if theres a medical reson for this prob try to get him to see a GP but don't nag him. Have fun in the bed room. Hope this helps
