Hi Scribbler,

Thought I'd just mail and wish you all the best for the birth.

I work with MT (& MU) and have been kept up to date with your progress everytime MT was in the office.

I'm due on 16th May, so I've been quizzed on every decision I've made (i.e. prams, cots, names etc) to see how they've compared to what you're going through!

Have to say you've got a really neat bump - I'm much much bigger - all out front though.

Good luck for the next few weeks

Hello! I know who you are ;-) Have heard a lot about you from them too but less since you haven't been overlapping work days so much (and now on mat leave).

Hope you're enjoying the leave and not too tired to make the most of it. I seem to be really energetic one moment and asleep the next!

Thanks for the best wishes and good luck to you too - no doubt we'll hear how we've got on through the Ms, but otherwise on here.

Good labour vibes heading your way.

Haven't seen M for ages, as I stopped working on Fridays some time ago (couldn't have coped with 5 days a week at the pace they expect us to work!), so it's good to catch up with your progress on the blog.

Maternity leave is great - had two weeks off now. Finally feeling sorted, and ready to bring a baby home. Am feeling good most of the time, but sometimes just have to sleep, especially if I've been up in the night. This seems to be a frequent occurance at the moment - I wake up starving about 3am and have to go and eat loads!!

Take care, and look forward to hearing your news

I know what you mean about being ready...

It's great not needing to feel guilty about the midnight munchies isn't it? Glad to hear you're doing well and soundi n good spirits and not too bored (yet!).

Are you still hanging on in there?

I'm due on Tuesday, which is getting scarily close, but get a feeling s/he might be late.

Had been feeling prepared, now feeling very surreal and not believing it's actually finally going to happen soon.

Good luck!!!

Still here, still no baby. I feel exactly the same way about it being all very unreal all of a sudden, can hardly believe there's a baby in there at the moment.

You might well get there before me! If you can try and think beyond Tuesday somehow it might help lessen the frustration if s/he is late. But if you're anything like me you'll be frustrated anyway!

Glad I'm not the only one feeling unreal!

Was trying to explain to C last night - I think he thought I'd gone mad, as my bump is now enormous, and kicking all the time, and so obviously going to produce a baby!

I've got a few things round the house i want to get sorted before s/he comes, and can't decide whether to try to get them all done this week, or keep some back for the next fortnight or so!!

Lets hope yours makes and appearance soon -
have you stocked up with fresh pineapple and curries yet?
