I popped into John Lewis (Oxford Street) to have a look at the Bugaboo Bee on demo.

I do love it. It is very compact, easy to steer, lightwheight (handy as we live on the 4th foor with no lift!), has excellent suspension and yet very sturdy. It's stylish design will certainly turn heads (as long as you don't mind the attention!). The hood is MASSIVE! I suppose the baby can have some privacy! :

We live in central London and use public transport. Judging by the Bee's compactness, I don't think there will be a problem hopping on and off buses, tubes and trains - unlike the poor other parents struggling with their travel systems.

The price is expensive, especially when you consider purchasing the other accessories (footmuff, nest, bag, etc). However, I think my baby's worth it!

Seen alot of good and bad reviews for the Bee. But having said that, that's the same for all the other products out there. At the end of the day, it's about what works for you. And the Bee will work for us in central London.

I suppose the video promo at the Bugaboo website has sold it for me (it was aimed at father's racing around with the Bee)... We're definitely getting the Bugaboo Bee for our baby due April.

We have one and it's great, it was the only pram that would easily fit in my car.  We've used it mostly with the maxi cosi car seat rather than the baby nest.

It's lightweight and you can put it up one handed!
