The main things you have to avoid are unpasturised milk products.
Things like cheddar cheese have been pasturised, but stilton and brie aren't. So with the cream as long as it's pasturised you'll be fine. I'm afraid I don't know what diane sauce is....
Other items to avoid are uncooked eggs, so for example homemade mayonaise (heinz/helmans is ok as it's been pasturised), and pates with undercooked meat.
You are supposed to make sure all meat is properly cooked, so no black pudding or rare steaks they all need to be cooked so there's no blood left.
Most of this is because of the risk of listeria....
You're also supposed to avoid eating too much oily fish like tuna because of the amount of mercury in the waters they live in these days.
