the scan people will only tell you the sex if they are 100% sure. When I went for my scan I was told I was having a girl but everyone who saw my bump told me I was having a boy from the way I was carrying. Personally I think its a load of pooh! I had a girl just like the scan showed but if you are not sure who to trust don't buy any pink or blue things yet! lol

well at first i started to buy boy stuff but them i got a bit worried that i would be spending lots of money on boy clothes wen it might be a girl. so i am only buying unisex. does anyone now were the best place to buy baby clothes from???

When it comes to buying baby stuff, the first thing i'd say is don't bother other than a few basics, when you give birth the stuff floods in from friends and family normally in birth to 3 month size, a family friend and my mum bought 3-6 months so were just getting in to that now the 0-3 has been outgrown.
the only expensive item we bought in advance was a mamas and papas snow suit that i fell in love with, the rest baby grows bibs vests socks etc came from tesco's, great clothing at cheap prices because at that age its a waste spending out on the big brand clothing for it to be outgrown quickly.

I totally agree about people buying things! Its hard but just forget buying any 0-3mnth yourself... EVERYONE will buy the baby an outfit. I always buy clothes from Adams, Sainsburys, Next and M&S. Sometimes I find the Asda clothes don't wear very well. Especially the sleepsuits, the arms getting shorter the more you wash them! And on the vest the neck gapes! I normally buy them from Tesco or Adams. My mum gets her clothes from Matalan which wear really well. Its so easy to waste masses of money on stuff... I look back now and wish I hadn't brought some things I have! Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!! I will tell you that the BEST thing I own is a Fisher Price Aquarium Swing... its motorised to swing by itself and plays music and it was a GODSEND! Bit pricey at £70 but there is a nice one for £50 I have seen but I know there are many types out there.
