I can't say for sure if they're made in the UK (and that is incredibly important to me too) but Vertbaudet designer baby clothes manufacturer partnered with Unicef at one point, so doubt they'd have their stuff made in poor conditions, by children etc.

Heya

I am working with an amazing brand from Portugal at the moment that specialises in funky baby clothes called Dress4fun. The brand's designer is based in Portugal but also the garments are manufactured there too. Both Dress4fun and Koolmami.com support high ethics and premium quality manufacture but also the brand is BRIGHTLY COLOURED! No more boring 'pinks and blues'. The brand in amazing and we are dressing our baby girl in Dress4fun from head to toe when she is born in July. =)

Check out the range anyway, I realise that the question asked for UK manufactured brands however I feel that the main concern was the use of child labour in largely unregulated markets - Dress4fun offers unique, high quality baby and kids wear that is guaranteed not to have used child labour. All employees are treated fairly and paid for their excellent work.

For all of the latest baby clothes from Dress4fun simply visit http://www.koolmami.com/dress4fun. Koolmami also distributes the brand in the UK so if you have a little shop then you can stock the Dress4fun brand for your self!

Hope this helps. xxx Gareth

Hello All,

We are a UK based Baby Clothing Manufacturer, all our garments are fair traded, see our website www.therallyshack.co.uk for products, it is important to us as a company that our products are made for the kids, not by the kids. We have a large following due to our ethics and have been established for over 10 years.

If you are looking for an all-made in London brand, check our choo-choo-london.com and mamaway.com. These are online boutiques and are internationally know for their stylish comfy clothes.

Almondella's pregnancy and babycare packages contain earth and human friendly products that are from small designer brands from northern Europe and the UK.

The service is actually still at early phases looking for first customers to develop their product with before they launch and they're offering them really good discounts.

Hi All,

I'm Spanish by birth, live in the UK and mum of two and have recently set up an online boutique selling baby clothes. I work with a small family business in Spain who I have commisionned to make dresses, shorts, shirts and trousers for me all traditional Spanish design. I know they're not made in Britain, but I know that they are being made by adults and in a struggling part of Spain where the economy needs some help.

If interested you can visit my site at http://www.lalaa.co.uk
