Organic Baby Mattresses

hi everyone,

I just wanted to offer a few tips when it comes to organic baby mattresses as they are becoming more popular and when i did my research i found that some companies misrepresent what organic is!

I've had my organic mattress nearly two years now and they are great quality and there isn't that chemical smell which other mattresses can have. But there is a big difference in quality between 'natural' and 'organic'! natural mattresses tend to be poorer quality and are not as supportive. also they may still be treated with chemicals (i have made this mistake already!)

Basically if anyone is thinking or buying a natural/chemical free mattress, spend the little extra and get one that is CERTIFIED organic by the Soil Association. Try www.thelittlegreensheep.co.uk or www.abacaorganic.com

Ignore the likes of high street brands because they are not certified organic, they are just cheaper natural ones because they are on the 'organic' band wagon.

Hope that helps anyone who is looking down this route
