Contaction like pains with copper coil?

Has anyone had a copper coil fitted & experienced contraction like pains every so often, partically when lifting things & bending over? I just got it fitted on friday (10th july). Is this normal or should I talk to my doctor about it?

I also had that type of pains when I had my coil fitted. I got them for a couple of weeks and then they just got less and stopped. After that I never had any problems at all.

I would say that if it continues then get it checked as the coil may be in the wrong position.

I went to the doctors on friday & had it checked. She said it in right place but took swab just incase. My period wasn`t due till 22nd july but I been bleeding friday night (17th) so I am guessing the internal might brought my period on early. The contaction like pains are now less often.
