28 to 45 day cycles?? please help

Hi,Me and my partner are thinking of trying for our 3rd child soon, however when we were trying for our 2nd who is now 18mths old, i came off the pill and didn't conceive for 11mths which i know is normal for it to take upto a yr.The problem is when i came off the pill and tracked my monthly's they were changing every month, sometimes 28 days long, or 33 or 45 which made it impossible for even an electronic ovulation device called Persona that we got.I am thinking maybe this will be the same when i come off the pill again soon?It may be different because i told my dr we were gonna try this year about 6 mths ago and he moved me on to a low dose pill called marvelon (which has been the best pill i've ever been on, no spotting only withdrawel bleeds in 7 day breaks)Any help or advice much appreciated.ThanksMary-Ellen

i use the ovulation sticks and they always tell me when i ovulate maybe try them?  I used them as my cycle was always different also.

Mary-ellen, perhaps you should just "do the deed" everyother day or two and see if you can catch that way??? thats what my hub and i usually do. i have odd cycles too, mine are anything between 28 and 34 days.  Good luck and happy tryings!!!! *WINK* xxx
