I posted a thread 2 weeks ago and it has had many views but no replies. I can see mine isn't the only thread that has been ignored. That's not very welcoming is it.

I'm sort of new to the forum too. Well, not really new. I used the site a lot when trying to concieve 5 years ago and then throughout my pregnancy and the first few months after my son (who is now 4) was born. Motherhood got rather busy and I didn't have much time for chatting so I haven't been back in a long time!

My partner and I have just decided to try for a baby, but we've decided not to tell anyone. Bit of a sensitive issue as we've officially only been together for 6 months after both splitting from our spouses, but we've been best friends for 11 years so we know it's right. On top of that I have a history of miscarriage so it's hard to get excited. I console myself in the knowledge that I have one healthy, happy child, which is more than many.

Have literally just started trying this week so I'm looking for someone at the same stage to winge to! don't want to put the other half off before we've even begun
