Hi, sorry I've been so lax in getting on here.  Can't believe I have missed two BFP's, so pleased for both girls.  Congrats to you Ellie and massive congrats with hugs, bells and whistles for Beth, I am praying that this will be your take home baby, your good luck is very overdue

Hello again to Karen, nice to see you back yet again, you are a glutton for punishment, lol!  How is Seth doing now, I think he's about 7 months am I right?  Will be glad to have your excellent advice (and entertaining stories) on the board again xxx

Hi also to Heidi who was on the Nov 2010 board with me, hope Xanthe is doing well (still love that name but DH won't let me use it for a girl, damn him) xx

We have finally started ttc properly, I had being putting it off as I hadn't lost my baby weight but broodiness is getting to me, probably because I'm going back to work tomorrow after a blissful 10 months off.  Kelden will be with daddy this week, then he's off to full time nursery next week.  I didn't note when my last AF was so I've taken a rough guess at my CD on the list.

Hope everyone is well xx

HI everyone,

Sorry I've not been on much lately.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have had another mc at 10 weeks. I had a tiny amount of brown spotting yesterday morning and nothing else but the mw booked me in for a scan to reassure me. When I went for the scan I was expecting everything to be fine as I'd had no more spotting. When they scanned me they found the fetus measuring at 8-9 weeks but there was no heartbeat. I can't believe this has happened again, the only consolation being that they will now look into why this keeps happening, as it is my third so I now am classed as having had multiple miscarriages.

I have had no cramps or pains and no more bleeding so I have to make the decision of what to do next. I can let it happen naturally but it could take p to 6 weeks and be very painful, I could have a tablet and pessaries to bring it on or I could be put to sleep for the day and have my womb surgically cleared. Right now I just can't think straight but I've got till Monday.

Sorry to bring a downer onto the thread.

Oh bloody hell Beth - I'm soooooo so sorry to hear that, you must be devastated!!! As you say they will look into why its happening but how awful to keep having miscarried for them to do it in the first place oh Beth!!!!! Love and hugs sent your way by the bucket load girlie (((((((HUGS)))))))) You take care of yourself and we're here for you even though it is in text form. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Beth I am so sad to hear this. Really feel for you and your OH, memories of mc in Mar are still raw. Take care and hope they get to the bottom of it when you are ready and thinking of you in the future xxx
02/09/2011 at 20:22

Beth so so sorry to hear your awful news ;( can you ask to be rescanned just to double check? Im not sure on what you should do next, my miscarriage was natural at 11 weeks and it wasnt too painful (certainly wasnt pleasant but I wasnt in agony and didnt need any pain relief) not sure if that helps at all. Im not sure how my miscarriage occured but I have a feeling bubs died at around 9 weeks.

I really really hope that this is the last of your bad luck, I was so happy for you. I hope that you are coping as well as you can and that you are able to get moving on the medical side of finding out why this had happened again and have my fingers crossed its something really simple and easy to correct.

Thoughts are with you hun, really wish there was something I could do  cant imagine how you must feel right now xxxxxx

Beth- I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear your news you poor thing. I wanted to send you a massive (((((hug))))) xxxxxx

Beth I'm so sorry to hear your news! This is so heartbreaking, I can't imagine how you're feeling. I'm glad you've come online though because talking about it will help you deal with it.

It's hard having to make the decision on how to end things now but I would imagine you're probably still having pregnancy symptoms which much be so confusing! Maybe getting it all over with and getting your body back into a proper cycle will mentally help you deal with it? I have no idea as I haven't been in the situation myself so im sending you lots of strength!

My thoughts are with you x

Hi everyone,

I have been checking in everyday, and Beth I just want to say how sorry I am to have read your post This has made me so sad. It just seems so cruel and unfair.

You sound like you're being very strong. I imagine it's just too much to think about what next right now. I hope you have a good support group around you and don't forget we're all here for you. Sending a lot of love your way. xxx

Hi again - Beth - have been thinking about you all night, maybe you've already come to some decision but I thought it might help if I told you about me - I've had 3 miscarriges too, but not together, unfortunately on two occassions my body still wanted to be pregnant and didnt spontaniously abort and I had to have D&C's.  However, it does help you move on I think and I'm glad that I made the decision to do the D&C, but then I have several other factors to deal with also, ie I had a family to take care of and also my age - I'm 45 in a couple weeks so we had our 2nd family later in life and I had to "push" things abit!!! but no one can make your decision for you and whatever you decide my thoughts, love and best wishes are with you.  Again, take good care of yourself and heres hoping that they will now sit up and take notice and DO something to help you, hopefully it will be something easy to recify and you will indeed, soon be holding that baby!!!! ((((HUGS)))) xxxxx
