Hi all,

Well I think AF is going to make an appearance, had a slight sign of it this morning so we'll see if it actually gets itself into gear and gets on with it.  Going away for Xmas and really don't want it then - especially as we might go to a cottage  (nice and quiet) where there is no flushing toilet!!

Am a bit disappointed if it is but also pleased in a way cause I have finally gone down with OH cold and have a humdinger of a sore throat coming and the only thing that ever seems to clear them is Aspirin - how will I cope when I am pg??!!

How did the appointments go Farmerswife and Jessie?  Hope all okay.

How are Jacob and Oliver now?

Some presents delivered already, just got OH to buy for and still haven't got a clue what to get!  - would have been nice to tell him that he's gonna be a daddy but doesn't look like it's this month, although I think he would be a bit shocked it happening that quickly!

Hi everyone, Oliver back at school today ???. Magenta - when is AF due? Mine is Friday and I'm already feeling really ratty. Don't know if it's pms or just me putting myself in a bad mood stressing about getting it aaaarrrghh!! I really wanted to give OH some lovely news
12/12/2011 at 14:10

Thats good news Emma.

Know what you mean, I thought I was due around Friday so a bit early.

12/12/2011 at 15:48

Afternoon ladies (hoping this post is more successful than yesterdays ...)

Farmers wife/Jessie - hope things went well at your appointments x

Magenta - could it not be the implantation bleed - oh I do hope so - I felt quite poorly before BFP like was getting something but it never actually came x Sorry your feeling a little poorly x Jacob is lots better thanks he still has a tickly cough and snotty nose and is dribbling for England! So figured may be teething...

Well .... I hate to say still no AF .....So I wont!!! AF arrived  So I am officially CD1 today  When I muster the energy I will retype the list again and have another go at adding Jessie. Pleased to say Im off to get some paracetamol for cramps

xx

I did wonder if perhaps it could be implantation bleeding but isn't that usually (sorry for being so explicit) brown?

Had cramps and leg ache this morning but that seems to have cleared

You sound please Em!  But now at least you know where you are and hopefully next month

Hi Carol keeping fx for u! I resisted temptation as lunch time to test just got to wait......
13/12/2011 at 13:57

Hi ladies sorry to crash but you guys seem to know a lot more about conceiving than I do! I wonder if you could shed some light on my wierd cycles recently. Oh and I'm not trying to conceive just wanted to pick your brains for all that knowledge!

Firstly I already know I have one polycystic ovary which means my cycles before my first baby last year were really all over the place from 30 days to 105 days and everything in between. But after I had my lovely daughter last February I've been pretty much 30 - 34 days on the dot, except for this month which has been 50 days so far.

I was starting to get concerned a few days ago as AF is showing so sign of turning up. So my options are either we've accidently got pregnant, which is highly unlikely seen as we have been very careful, or things are just getting back to my normal irregularity. However, last night I had a small amount of brown spotting and thought finally AF has turned up, but this morning its all stopped again.

I would totally rule out pregnancy normally but we did have one extremely brief (!) naughty moment about 2 weeks ago, which is making me wonder if its at all possible. But wouldn't I have ovulated 2 weeks prior to when AF was due to arrive? Which would make it 4 weeks ago, which would mean that there's no way I could be pregnant?

Any ideas? I'm lost!

13/12/2011 at 14:19

I'm not an expert Amy but I also have been told that I have PCOS and it does make you irregular.  The trouble is that the GP only seems to think that it can be treated with the pill. Perhaps for piece of mind you should test.

I think AF is definately on her  way  I have the most tremendous cramping right now and all the old symptoms I had before I went on the pill are coming back - not good - making me remember why I went on it in the first place but.... I want a baby so I will have to put up with it.  So I think ole faithful Mr Asprin will be called upon today.

Hi Ladie's, sorry aint been on for a while. bizzy bizzy bizzy with christmas.

(EM) doctor's went ok I guess. He didnt really say much apart from keep trying for 6 more mouth's, If still nothink then I have to go back.  But I dont wanna wait that long. dunno what they will do when i go back, if i have to go back. he didnt say. He said to have fun with it (TTC). And try the kama sutra book or look online, so i looked online but seemed aload of crap, but dunno if the book's any better.

Keep getting really bad stomach cramping, sharp & painful,  any advice?

any way have a good christmas all. xx

Lots of Baby Dust to all of our TTC ladies x

ow and thx em for adding me to your list.

13/12/2011 at 19:59

ooow and welcome AMY B, hope you get the info you need. were all very friendly, there for each other and all help each other out. xxx

13/12/2011 at 20:17

Evening all! x

magenta - yes implantation bleeding is normally brown x I am thrilled AF arrived although on the cocodamol as cramps really uncomfy...Really pleased im finally going to start moving up the list, just want to know how long my cycle is going to be now and when to expect ov - first cylce will just be trial and error!

Emma & Carol fx for you both xxxx

Beth not sure if you would have spotted my earlier message in all the code - Your weight loss is fantastic what are you doing? Ive reached a plateau at 10lbs loss (mind af has caused 2lb gain i think) and cant seem to drop below - whats your secret? x

Heidi hope your feeling ok lovely x thinking of you x

Amy - Welcome x Ive been playing with your dates and can't get my head around it unless ov happened later than normal circa cd36 when you had your naughty moment .... do you remember what cm was like then? this bleed may be late implantation ... if it is implantation it will take a further 4 to 7 days for the hcg hormone to build up enough to show a bfp - or it may be breakthrough bleeding? in which case test now! or it may be your cycle returning to pre pregnancy times.  Cant give any firm answers sorry but please do let us know what happens x

13/12/2011 at 20:20

Hi Jessie - Where abouts are you in your cycle? how long is it? x where abouts is the sharp pain? x

13/12/2011 at 21:02
Hi Jessie If u dont want to wait too long u cud always go back to the docs in a month or so and say ur not happy to wait that long and is there anything they can do in the meantime. Did u mention the pains to them? I am in v similar position to u. Got pg on pill with no1 so it's hard when u have to try so hard for no2. Karma sutra is rubbish, spend the money on some sexy ann summers underwear! Xx
