Choosing where & how to give birth

When it comes to giving birth these days the expectant mum has lots of options, from whether you'd like to give birth at home, in the maternity unit of a hospital or in a special maternity unit, to what kind of birthing experience you would like: natural, medicalised, waterbirth and so on. While you nobody can guarantee you the birth you have planned, it's well worth thinking ahead about your options and establishing your preferences would be.
