Tiny 20-year-old gives birth on the loo, two weeks after doctors missed her pregnancy at a contraceptive pill check up

A size-eight beauty therapist has revealed her shock at giving birth to a healthy 8lb, 7oz baby boy on the loo, after having no idea she was pregnant.
Lauren Peberdy visited her doctor for a contraceptive pill check up just two weeks before Baby Dylan-James’ surprise arrival. But despite being weighed and having her blood pressure checked, the doctor told her everything was normal and sent her on her way, reports the Daily Mail.
Although a slim size-eight, Lauren didn’t appear pregnant and didn’t struggle with morning sickness or any of the usual pregnancy symptoms or cravings many mums-to-be get.
“I didn’t put on weight or get any cravings at all. You would think I’d have had a bump but I had nothing whatsoever,” Lauren explained. “I didn’t know what was happening at first. I thought I was dying,” she said of the birth. “By the time the paramedics arrived five minutes later I had given birth on the bathroom floor.”
Though becoming parents came as a shock, 20-year-old Lauren and her boyfriend Gavin are dealing remarkably well with the life-changing event.
“Dylan is a really happy baby,” proud mum Lauren said. “He just smiles all the time and is no trouble whatsoever. I’m quite surprised how well we are coping considering it was unexpected.”
No morning sickness, a five-minute birth and an angelic baby sound all right to us!
