Dear Peter,

This vehicle is not in our fitting list as tested and the fitting of seats can vary depending on how old the car is and whether the foams are still firm or have collapsed slightly. For instance a new car car might be tested and the result acceptable for a particular seat but a few years later when the foams are softer it could be a different story. We can give a guide as to whether a seat might fit a car but we recommend customers to buy from a retailer who will actually try the seat into the car to determine whther there is a good fit.

With the moulded leather seats in the BMW Coupe I think it would be better to advise the customer to go to a retailer. If he wants to contact me by email I'll let him know where the nearest retailer is.

The person here at RECARO who does all of the seat testing is on holiday today, but I will ask him upon his return if he has any information.

Sounds really good. I've got an 18 month old nephew so could be a perfect Xmas present. You said you can find it at Mothercare but you didn't say what its called. Could you let me know pls.
