Hi all

Rani - I am going for the scan today as I have been having dark brown (old blood) discharge over the last couple of days. I called the midwives and they booked me in. I do have a cyst on my ovary too so not sure if thats why they are being cautious - I will let you know what they say. I so know that old dark blood is less concerning than lots of fresh blood.

Katy - I don't have your problem really - i have always been a little podgy round the edges! People know I have stopped exercising as much and playing rugby (i made up a lie injury) so they won't be supprised that I have been putting weight on!!

Have a good day all, I will let you know how I get on later - fingers crossed!!

Hey Alice,

My appetite has increased and its for sweet stuff! Also been finding that I need something sweet at about 2pm in the afternoons - seem to feel tired and then crave something sweet - think it may be do with blood sugar!?

My OH is pretty much the same as yours! I say I feel really tired and he says 'so do i'! as if we both have the same reason to be tired!

I have not had any sickness - i have felt sick during the night but never once been sick (touch wood)!

I think I am going to make some tea and toast - see always hungry! he he he

I reckon tomorrow will be fine.

I have to say that the midwives from my team are so nice, they so so lovely and show real concern on the phone! I called the midwives and within an hour the early pregnancy unit had called with a scan time - and she was so sweet on the phone! I feel like I am in good hands! Very lucky!

Have a good weekend Alice - you off anywhere nice?

I am going to the Chirstmas Markets in Manchester - I love it there!

Oh yeah going back to the flatulance issue, i have it bad and its scaring the dog to death! I think he keeps thinking its a shot gun! ha ha TMI but funny!

Anyway take care all!

Hi all

Hope everyone is well and the sickness is subsiding a little!

We must all be nearing the 12 week scan point by now! I am 9 weeks tomorrow - considering I am so impatient I cannot believe how quick the time had gone - madness.

I am going for a scan tomorrow as I have been having a bit off dark blood discharge for the past couple of days, nothing major but the midwives are just going to check my over and make sure things are ok.

May also get some news on the cyst too - fingers crossed!

I have been feeling really tired this week, OH does not seem to grasp that this is due to the beanie draining my energy and hormones!

Who is having their 12 week scan first?! I am 10th December!

Hi all

Rani - i am still exercising - no where near as intensive as usual as cannot do weights or too much stretching. I usually do about 20-30 mins jogging on treadmill, 20 minutes on the bike and a few legnths in the pool. Was previously doing it every day but now aim for every other - depending on tiredness!! I have to continue the exercise otherwise I will balloon!!

MM - how scary - but glad it worked out! I cannot wait for 12 weeks - the waiting game is torture!!

Hope everyone else is ok.
