Hi Ladies,

I just thought I would let you know that due to the constant abuse being posted on this thread we have now brought in new measures to prevent this from happening.  I was hoping it wouldn't have to come to this but from today onwards anyone who joins the site and tries to post in the forum will have to await approval by either myself or the editor.

This does not affect existing members - you can continue to post as normal, but the people who have been absuing this forum have now had their memberships deleted and will not be able to gain access to the forum as we have their details now.

We hope you can continue to enjoy this thread in peace from now on.

Best wishes to all,

Monica x

Hi Chrissy,

I'm no expert but it might be worth checking to see if your daughter has any allergies or lactose intolerance.  I am lactose intolerant and was formula fed as a child and was very sick throughout my younger years as a result of it not being diagnosed.

Many formula milks contain lactose so perhaps you could start by trying one that is lactose-free and see whether that helps the situation.

Failing that I would go back to your doctor and ask for further advice on the matter.

I hope that helps a bit.

Good luck and best wishes,

Monica x

Hello ladies,

I forgot to mention before - if someone's posts are upsetting then the best thing to do is click on the 'Ignore member' icon on one of their posts and you will no longer be able to see anything they post.

Hope this helps,

Monica.

Hello ladies,

It has come to my attention that there are still problems on this thread - I have already had to remove one person's membership from the site and if these issues continue then I will be forced to remove more.

Please settle your differences - this is a forum for help, advice and friendly chat - not for fighting and upsetting others.

Many thanks,

Monica
