Thanks Carla, luckily enough Emily has not got to the moving about stage just yet, she has only just learnt to sit up this past week and is still a bit wobbly. A few mums a my Tiny Tot group today had said the same, so just going to go with the flow and do a few trial and errors this week so far putting her to bed at 7ish (when she gets tied) seems to have helped as she drank most of her milk when woke at 8.30 ish and she did not wake in the night too .

Here's an up to date  pic of my little girl,

Well this is my post for advice.

HI , Am too having problem with my LO, she has just turned 8 months and the last few months she seems to wake up a 3 or 4 time in the night, she does settle back down again most of the time. But she has sleep thru from 4 wks old 8- 830am, so i am bit puzzled to why this has suddenly changed.
i thought it may be teething but no teeth yet apart from her tow bottom ones which came through at 6 months with no problems.

She does eat very well but her milk feeds are hell and have been since birth. I was breastfeeding at first but she was being sick and lost weight so had to go to formula. we started with Atpamil but she got very windy on that so changed to easy digest but she still had windy problems and was advice by HV to use infocal that did help for a while but at 4 months she started to bring up bile so told to change to gripe water, but after a wk she was worse so had to take her to doctors. she got put on SMA Soyer milk, but she would not settle on it at night so had to give her the Aptamil digest which HV didn’t like but doctor was the one who advised this. This did work for a few weeks but her stools got bit solid so i looked up on line to what else could be the problem. it seemed that it could be the lactose that is in the formulas so doctor agreed i tried SMA LF. At last she was settled few, but at 19 wks she was getting stressy at feeding time again

http://www.hippbabyclub.co.uk/chat/images/smiles/icon_sad.gif

, mostly at her lunch time feed so was advice to start weaning her and she was happy again. then at 6 months she grow out of the LF so doctor suggested we go onto SMA Follow on milk and she took it with no fuss up till a four wks ago.

She is now on three feeds a day and eats very well porridge in morning after her milk feed then lunch is milk + 125g jar or six homemade frozen cubes food mix with some finger food then dinner is a 150g frozen home made pot of 190g hipp jar + 120g fruit pot/jar and water, bed time is milk.

she was drinking about 5- 6oz in the day and 7-8 at night feed, but suddenly we have been having problems again, she will prob drink about 3 - 5 oz in the morning and 3 oz lunch time then 3 aging at night feed which i know is not enough to last her through the night, so we are having to syringe the last 2 oz, which she finds fun.

Can anyone help me with what could be wrong, she is putting weight on at a steady rate and is going regular, sometimes they are a bit solid but mostly they are one big soft lump, My Hv said that was fine. I am thinking trying the night time milk, but SMA don’t do it so i am not sure if i can give her the hipp night milk as well as the SMA FO in the day as that is two different formulas, was told you should not mix formulas.

Hi all haven't been on for a very long while, so so sorry girls. Just find it hard fitting time into just sitting and chat on web since Emily came along, she has got a bit clingy of late, when i leave the room she cries. plus being a carer for my mum don't help, have had to step back from that a bit and let my sister do more as i am finding it all abit hard work and i am so so tired as my medical condition has come back a bit too so back on the pain killers .

Emma thinking of you hun, well i have tried to put up to date pic on here but for some reason it won't load them and we have a new computer so i may be doing it wrong so how, hubby is off work this week so may have a bit of time to come on here for a quick chat and load some pic up.

Emily is doing well but are still having problems with milk feeding, be glad when she is on normal milk, she weighed 17bls 4 oz Monday so is spot on in the chart. she can just about sit unaided but is still a bit wobble afther a bout 5- min, can't believe she is 8 months now.

Hope everyone else is ok.

Going to post another message for some advice but it was too long in message to add.

Well hello to you all,

Emma thanks for your tex message, well i have not read all the forums from last thread, but i hope you are all doing well, gosh has'nt time flown can't belive Emily will be 6 months in a few wks time.

We are all doing really well, did have some ups and downs with post natel deprestion, feeding problems and illness/death in the famliy, but have had good surport from my Health visitor and the sure start team and so on the mend now.

Emily is doing really well, we got her christened last month and she looked gorgeous, she has just figued how to roll but is not quite there yet and does not like being on her tummy but can lift her head up and roll over if on her tum. Started weaning her three wks ago and we both enjoying it, she loves carrot and sweed so far.

we did try butter nut squash, which she liked but she had a reaction too, i felt bad seeing her cry like that as she never really crys, so it was a bit of a shock, but we got throu it.

well hofully i will have a bit more time to pop on here abit more often, as got Home start coming to seeme tomorrow to see if they can give some home surport due to my conditon, as  being Emily has grown so much it is getting harder for me to carry her.

i will adds some photos on in a mow just going to see if she has woken up yet.

Hi Emma & Dawn,

well Emily took the jab very well today she only cried a little when the needle went in the thighs, they do one jab on each thigh, i was more worried for her. she was fine all morning and just slept but has been a bit up and down since her lunch time feed.

Emma, Emily has been sleeping through the night since she was about 4wks old, i do get the odd wake up at about 6 or 7am but she goes back off again within ten min of tlc.

i think getting 3 feeds in the day helps, i do a 8.30/9am, 12-12.30pm,4-4.30pm,8-8.30pm and then 12-12.30am. i am not to the dead line just near abouts as that's the patten she seams happy with and it suits me well too, well most of the time.

Dawn i would go to your local papers about the council it's disgusting how they are stringing you along.

o well going to try and get some rest as been up since 7am, as Emily's appoint was at 9.30am, also i have a abscised in top right tooth and on antibiotic's at mow, got to have the crown removed and tooth out in a wks time, i am so not looking forward to that as never had a tooth out while awake .

my Godmother has made a slight improvement but still on life support.
