I'm in Birmingham, have an appointment with doctor on Tuesday so hopefully should be able to find out a few things! I did one of the pregnancy calculators online and think i'm due 30th Aug but i'm sure that will probably change! I wasnt 100% sure of my dates as I only came off the pill in Nov so couldnt really believe how fast it all happened. I'd been on the pill for 8 years since I was 17 and really thought it take longer for my body to adjust. Have you had a drink over xmas/new year? I only found out after all the xmas boozing so am a bit worried but have read a few reasurring things on here, have completly stopped for now, not sure if will have the odd glass of wine later in pregnancy, not sure what reports to believe! Take care x |

I'm sure it will start, my sisters have all suffered bad with the sickness, just keeping my fingers crossed for week 12! Its all a bit of a maze to me at the moment, so much to take in and so many things you should and shouldnt be doing! Nice to meet you, when are you due? x |

Hi All, I've just found out i'm expecting my first baby on 30th August so about 6 weeks at the moment. Although this was planned we only decided to start trying for a baby in November so this all happened very fast! We found out on New Years Day so a lovely way to start our new year together. Am very nervous about everything at the moment! so would appreciate any support and guidance you may be able to offer, i havent experienced any sickness yet (am sure it will come) just sore boobs and the tiredness on and off. Good luck to you all! Clare x |
