Morning girls!

Hope you are all well!

Sarah, glad your scan went well and how lovely to jumo forward by a couple of weeks. Hornet, I would chase your mw if I was you, you've got nothing to lose and there is always a chance she has forgotten about it.

Babybear, so pleased your scan went well as well. I was a bridesmaid for a friend 4 weeks after my daughter was born, I was so stressed about how I would look, how would I feed my dd, who would look after her whilst I was with the bride etc but the day endede up brilliantly. What will be, will be and as you say, at least you know you'll definitely be there..haha!

Isobel, sorry to hear your boiler packed in, what a nightmare! We had a new boiler fitted a month ago and it's a messy and cold affair. Hope it's all sorted soon for you!

Kate, glad all is well now and baby is growing nicely. I too, have a definite bumo however I am still able to lie on my front even though it does feel a little straneg.

Kelly, hope your scan went well!

I'm well and truly pregnant now, finally switched to my maternity skinny jeans and my bump is very obvious now. The consultant went ok in the end, we were messed around quite a bit at first but in the end I saw a senior mw who was brilliant, my cervix is measuring normal and all swabs show no sign of infection. She was even able to give us a hint at the sex of the baby which was exciting. I go back again in 3 weeks for another internal scan then 4 weeks after that is my 20 wk scan.

Hope you've all had a nice wkend xx

Hi Alice!

Wow, 3 weeks...that's will be here before you know it! Things are ok with me. I have an appt with my consultant tmrw about the mc and about how I will be treated etc this time...that will be emotional but also put my mind at rest I think.

I hope these last 3 weeks don't drag too much! x

Hi girls,

Nicky so sorry to hear you are still suffering from the dreaded ms, I really hope it passes soon. Have you spoken to your dr about some anti sickness tablets or is it not that serious??

Rach, your pics are ace too! I can't how clear they get it. We have a day between our dd's...I wonder who will be first. I'll wait until everyone has had their 12  wk scans and then I'll update the dd list.

Hornet, 4 weeks is ages away! The pains sound normal enough but if you are concerne, give your communitu mw a call to get some advice. xx

We have decided not to find out the sex, we had a surprise wityh our dd and it was such a magical experience and I loved the finding out after birth...it was so special. We have everything for a girl obviously and have loads of neutral stuff from when we were waiting for dd so if it is a boy we can buy in the blue stuff afterwards.

Hope you all have a nice wkend xx

Aw Rach, am so glad scan went well! How lovely that the booties went down well and everyone was thrilled, hope it is just as special when you tell your friends tonight.

Kelly, I can't beleive you still haven't had your scan, that's really late! I would call your community mw or something and ask what's going on. How good that your nausea went just in time for Christmas! Mine has gone now, however last night I had a strange couple of hours of it....very odd!

Sarah, my first child had a whole sack full of presents when I was still pregnant...I was 18 weeks at Christmas in 2005 and there were loads..haha! It's a Grandparents perogative to spoil them!

I had my 12 week scan yesterday and it was incredible! Little Ted (baby's nickname) was jumping around and wiggling his legs and all looked perfect so far! I was almost spot on for dates, I am actually due 11th July so am 12wks and 4 days today.

Hi Girls,

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was lovely and my daughter got spoilt rotten, she is one happy girly!

I was back in hospital on Tues as had another bleed but thankfully they scanned me and it is all looking ok. I still have my official 12 week scan on Tues so hopefully things will still be ok.

Sarah, welcome and congratulations. Look forward to chatting to you.

Those of you who announced your pregnancies at Christmas, how did it go? xx
