Just caught up on the thread from New Year! Huge congratulations Amy! I bet you're really pleased!
It is a shame the forum seems to have gone really quiet. I have been off here for a while, purely to try and take my mind off ttc (4 and a half years ttc is a long time!) and try and relax a little.
I've had another appotinment with my consultant gynaecologist, she has now referred me to the subfertility specialist and I have had a few more tests done so am hopefully a little closer to that elusive bfp!
Hi ladies, sorry it's been a while since I was on last. Natty, your name is familiar, I must have seen you round the threads. Welcome to ttc. I have been a member here for 4 years but still ttc number 1 unfortunately, so I haven't really veventured outside ttc apart from the brief time spent in the due date threads before each of my miscarriages. Well I am pretty sure I'm out this month due to lack of bd but it's ok as it means I can have a drink over Christmas then I'm hoping for better luck in 2013 (as long as the world hasn't ended that is! How about everyone else? Anyone hoping for a Christmas bfp? Xxx
Sorry I've not been around much, I just sometimes need to give the forums a break to try not to think too much about ttc! The inspection went really well, we don't get our official report until November 27th but we know it went well.
I've had a lovely chilled out half term and tried not to look at school work at all to make up for my lack of summer break! So now I'm just sitting down to do my planning for the week and thought I'd pop on here to see how everyone is!
So how are you all? I have read up on the last few pages and am sorry not to see any bfp's but let's hope they all come at once so we can go to a due date thread together!
There is no news on me, still plodding along hoping for that elusive bfp. I did phone the consultant I went to for my recurrent miscarriage and fertility tests as she said last time I saw her (May) that if nothing happened in six months I should phone her and we can go from there. So I phoned her (well, her secretary) and was told not to get my hopes up for an appointment this side of Christmas as there is a bit of a back log and my Dr has taken most of December off as her leave. So at least I'm back in the system, although I'm not really sure what she can do for me, she did briefly mention IUI last time I saw her but I wouldn't have thought I'd qualify for that as neither of us seem to have any fertility issues according to the tests! Anyway, time will tell I suppose, you never know, maybe I won't need the appointment by the time I get it (fx!)
Anyway, I hope you are all ok and enjoying the firworks this weekend!
Glad the wedding went well, you probably had better weather than you would have if you had got married in August! How is your dad doing?
On the Kate pictures, I agree, I am glad the newspapers didn't buy them. I think it may be a little different if she was on a public beach, but she was in a private place, beside their private pool and the photographer used a long lense. They have the right to a private life. If it was any other celebrity I'd say the same, if in public then it should be expected but on private land is another story.
As or me, I'm super busy! The inspection is just over a week away now, so two weeks today it will all be over! In a way it is good as I haven't had time to stress about ttc!
Jessie: Sorry af came hun, it's so disheartening isn't it? We'll get there in the end though (((hugs)))
H&G's Mummy: It must be really hard TTC with a DH who works away. It is wonderful working with children and I bet it would be amazing being involved in the miracle of birth on a day to day basis. I can see why you would want to go into midwifery.
Sherry: how are you feeling hun? Thinking of you (((hugs)))
As for me, my cycle seems to be playing up this month. Not sure if it's because of the stress of preparing for inspection or if it's because I've been taking EPO this month so I have stopped taking that in the hope that my cycle will start playing nicely!
