Sarah, Think my cm has almost disappeared since being preg. I do have it occ but not as much now. I'm 12 weeks today by my dates but scan put my dates back by 3 days. It's not much but at the beginning you are clinging to how many days you are. We haven't bd since early Sept, He's been gd about it tho. Hopefully all will be ok at the gestational scan on the 2nd of Dec.

Yeah scan does reassure you a little bit I suppose but I found I was more relaxed after I'd passed the point where I'd had my prev mc. I had mc at 11 weeks a few years ago but try not to think about it too much. We are going away for a little break at the end of this week so it's been gd having that to look forward to, something to take your mind off it all. Treat yourself to a break if you can, it really helps you when you're stuck in work and it's mad! Just pamper yourself and remind hubbie that you have earned all the breaks from doing dishes or handling the clothes washing! alixxxx

Yeah Sarah, My work is also mad at the moment. We are five down just now and app new people will start just before Christmas. Will believe it when I see it! I just do the best I can and def just take things in my stride. Btw if you're not already taking it folic acid is def recommended to help baby along. I take it although unknown to me my hubbie bought huge packets that will last me months and the tablets are huge this time but it still reassures me that I'm doing my bit to help baby grow well.

Over the last few weeks I have had the stretching feelings and I've just tried to breathe through them. It has gone in really quickly and think this has been helped by the fact that I've kept myself busy. My daughter def keeps me busy so don't have much time to sit still. Once you reach the five to six week stage you could phone your local epau and they will give you a reassurance scan. I had one at eight weeks and it was really gd to know there was a heartbeat. I'm starting to look like I've eaten too much so may have to tell work soon.

That is really gd tho that the clomid seems to have done the trick there and I really hope you have a great nine months of getting to know ur baby before he or she arrives!

Fantastic news Sarah! CONGRATULATIONS!

Hope you have a very happy and healthy nine months of preg ahead of you!

I've just been starting to feel my bean moving this last week. Been sleeping lots too and eating much more than I usually do. Hubbie is moaning that there are no longer any leftovers! cheek!

It's an amazing journey and so glad for you! Take it easy and let your hubbie do all the tasks for you!

Hi all,  It's been busy on here! Hope everyone is doing ok just had the weekly doze of x factor. Rebecca has to win... surely, her voice is amazing. Elton John songs are mad but good fun. Now thats all we'll be singing for the next few days!

Hi Alice welcome to the due may thread. Hope you have a great time on here. I'm looking forward to having a little brother or sister for my wee girl.

Claire, I find cbeebies a lifesaver in the morning as Em will sit and watch it for a while. She loves the Tinga Tinga Tales and I Can Cook.

Oh... last sunday I felt the bean move! I was in bed and had just woken up. It's really hard to describe, wasn't a flutter movement but just like a tiny person moving about. Then on Wednesday when I sat down on the train I felt it again. Guess my daily commute from work had woken him or her up! It is great to feel these movements, certainly is a relief.

Gem, can understand why you'd not be too chuffed. Trying to tell my mum to keep quiet is a challenge!! I told her I wasn't telling anyone else until after I had the all clear at the Dec scan. Then I said I would tell my aunt and uncle after this to which she replied 'why are you not telling them now then.' Did she zoom off to another planet while I told her my reason. Quite possibly!

Enjoy the rest of ur wkend all!xxxx

Yeah, Sharon thats right you don't need to have preg confirmed by doctor anymore as there are so many preg test kits ou there now. I took sample to docs and was told this so just phoned midwife instead and got an app. Congratulations on your preg! I'm 10weeks and the time flies by when you already have your hands full with the first!Hope all goes well with your first app then
