Lisa - I totally understand everything you are feeling, but I just wanted to add in my two-penneth, as someone who has lived abroad.

I lived in the US for 18 months, and also Russia (some of it in Siberia!) for a year.  I can honestly say they were both two of the most exciting, happiest times of my life, and I still think about my time abroad regularly with such fond memories.  Admittedly both of these are when I was young, free & single, but both my husband and I are keen to go abroad again, and whilst we will find it difficult to leave friends and family, you'll be amazed how quickly you build up a network in a strange country (especially with fellow Brits!) (it may be even easier with a baby in tow!)  And being in Las Vegas I am sure will mean you have people queuing up to visit you!!!

Best of luck xx

Laura - I'm a Sales Manager - look after our direct business (although my name is not Spanna  it's Anna Cottingham) - I'm on Orient GB, so same end of the building as you!  Let me know when you're back - would be good to compare notes xx

Laura - didn't realise you were another BA bod - I work in Waterside and am due back on 12 May - eek!

Larissa had her first settling in session at nursery on Thursday - she seemed to get on fine and only cried when I came to collect her.... hmmm.  I have been assured that this is because when she saw me she realised I'd left her & therefore cried, but I think they were trying to make me feel better!!

Will miss her terribly, but am also looking forward to getting back to work.

 xx

Thanks for the high chair advice!  I'd actually looked at the Svan one before, but it seems like such a lot of money for a high chair...  but I'm going to have at think about it and try and persuade OH!

Hi All

I rarely post but often read what you're all up to!  Larissa is 7 months old today - I cannot believe it!  I'm back to work on 12th May, so am sure that the next few weeks are going to fly by....  am hoping to go back 4 days per week instead of 5, but am still waiting for my boss to confirm if that's ok.

Just wanted to ask which high chairs you all have, and whether you'd recommend them?  I'm trying to choose between the Tripp Trapp (no tray) and the Bloom Nano (with tray) - does anyone have either?  And if you have the Tripp Trapp, do you wish it had a tray??

 Take care

 Anna
