It is not always easy to talk about miscarriage, even on the ThinkBaby forums.
Thanks to all of those of you who can offer advice, support, and shared experiences to each other, when the subject does come up, and for those
looking for insights and some reassuring words, please do also check out the ThinkBaby articles on miscarriage.
However, we'd love to bring your attention to a really great website we have come across which is run by the Miscarriage Association.
They offer advice and support to couples who have suffered the tragedy of miscarriage. They deal with over 20,000 letters, calls and emails a year from people who have lost a baby during pregnancy. They have over 200 volunteer telephone contacts across the UK and over 50 local support groups across the country.
They are supported by patrons like columnist
Anna Raeburn, presenter Tania Bryer and footballer Nigel Martyn, who, with his wife, has suffered four miscarriages.
The site offers insights and information and is a useful connection for any woman or couple going through this common but terrible
experience. Visit them at www.miscarriageasssociation.org.uk.
