It was wonderful to get out and about and meet some of you at last week's 'Sample and Share' morning, in association with nursery products brand Tippitoes.
As a website we don't usually have events 'in person' - most of our communicating gets done electronically! - but we are very keen to start getting out more to meet you guys in person through a series of regional coffee mornings.
For our first meeting we got together with nursery products brand Tippitoes, as we know that Paul and Tim, who run the company, share our belief in the importance of getting honest, first-hand feedback from parents and babies. This was a great chance for Tippitoes to showcase some of their latest products - from potties and baby carriers to changing bags and toys - by letting the parents and babies give them a hands-on try.
It wasn't a selling session, just a chance to have a go and see what people thought of the products, while getting to meet other ThinkBaby members and their children in a casual setting, over coffee and a pastry.
For our inaugural meeting we chose a venue in central Reading and invited everyone along to drop in after 10am. It was great to see so many interested parents with their lovely babies and toddlers!
The musical potties (which play a tune when your child sits on them, but double up as a toy roll-along car) and the baby walker were real hits with the older babies while the snuggly playmats met with approving dribbles from some of our younger guests - only a few weeks old!
