Something small but smart that we at ThinkBaby like this week: the Snack Trap.
Once your baby or toddler is into feeding herself on the go, your kitchen will fill up with handy little pots... and her carseat and your changing bag will fill up with raisins and bits of rice cake!
The Snack Trap (rrp £4.99) is a simple little pot with a covered but accessible lid. Your child can put her fingers into it to get out little snacks, but the flaps of the lid then close back so the remaining contents don't fall out. It also has two handles, making it easy to carry around and less likely to fall out of your child's little hands.
Snacking doesn't have to be an unhealthy activity. Raisins, grapes and rice cakes are great little snacks and these first self-feeding foods give your child a sense of independence.
