Every parent knows the biggest irony of new babies is that the smaller they are, the bigger the luggage is!
Take the travel cot: they need to be sturdy and comfy for your beloved little ones, but do they REALLY need to be so heavy?! Not according to Oomo, who have taken the popularity for lightweight buggies, and applied the rules to travel cots.
The Roomo is made from aluminium and weighs just 7.2kg. It compares favourably with the average travel cot, which usually comes in at anything between 8.5 and 10kg. Only the Graco Petite comes close at 7.5kg, although it is 20 per cent smaller than the usual travel cot.
Oomo (from Petite Star) are selling the Roomo as a travel cot/playpen through Mothercare and John Lewis, with an RRP of £65.
