We love the look of phil&ted's three-wheeler for 2007: the Sport (or SP for short).
phil&ted's have a reputation for funky, adaptable buggies and pushchairs, from their compact Smart Buggy to their compact double buggies. But the new SP is a great update on the E3 model that went before it.

Versatile through the ages
The SP has a comfortable, lay-flat recline making it suitable from birth upwards, and is strong enough to carry tired toddlers around until you no longer need a buggy at all.
It has an RRP of about £330, but for an extra £60, you can buy their innovative 'doubles kit', which easily clicks in as a second seat onto the back, making it adaptable for use with a baby and a toddler, or two toddlers.
This versatility makes it a great choice if you think you might have another child quite soon, but don't want to commit to a double buggy when you still only have one child.
Its folding system is easier than previous models, and it has single-action double brakes as well as a lockable front-swivel wheel.

The phil&ted's Sport vital statistics
The SP is suitable from birth to about five years.
It has a light alloy frame so, even though it has a good basket, decent-sized footwell, plus a sun hood with a viewing window, it's still only 9.7kg.
The seat has four recline positions including completely flat, and the handle can be positioned into several options.
Folded, it is 91cm long, 58cm wide and 27cm high/deep. Open, it's 120cm long, 58cm wide and 105cm in height.

Colours and accessories
The accessories available to buy include the doubles kit (RRP about £60), the two-pannier kit (RRP about £30) and the 'cocoon' (to make the ride more snug for babies), rain cover, and sun/bug mesh cover.
It comes in several colour options, including Black and Charcoal, Navy and Charcoal, Orange and Black, and Apple and Black.
